This is so incredibly sad! Like I was not prepared!! I have read a lot of messed up trauma mangas and never seen one show such complexity. How abuse has so many different effects and getting help is not always easy in a broken mind. Even with all the horrible things Hiro-kun did you still felt just as bad as you did for Airi...... Honestly I feel worse for him..... He never got better and was to broken to come back but with Airi there was always hope she was going to overcome it.
I think I was kinda fine with it because there always seem to be hope that she held onto and when you see she really is trying with the money you finally think "okay!? She might be okay! She might make it" unfortunately that hope dies as fast as it came. She lived a horrible life hating herself and only feeling worth with sex and drugs. In the end it's to much to bare and she overdoses on her week supply of heroin, and in her last moments finally sees she could have been more, only conea to little to late. The art is also wonderful.
