Well, Technically, he is his step-nephew (like no blood connection at all). The mother calls herself a mother but she is only a genitor since after she gave birth to him she didn’t meet him until he was 20 when MC’s father died. So, for MC, the ML is kind of like the step-brother of his sperm’s donor (but female equivalent.) So there’s no blood relationship, no grooming, no seeing the other grow up at all. Just two men who met when adult and happen to share a sperm donor/step family.
