To the people who can't understand why this comic is fatphobic: The name of the comic is "I became an ugly lady". Point out exactly what makes her appearance ugly, besides her weight.
Not the things she says, but we can clearly see is not ugly, like her hair.
From the cover, we see she will lose weight. From the synopsis, we see guys will flock to her. And we can already see that she's going to be exiled, so it's not a far reach to say that she's gonna make a comeback all thin and people will think that's pretty.
Yes, obesity is a disease. No, it's not healthy. But health hasn't even been mentioned in this comic, just appearance.
The whole point of body positivity is not to romanticize obesity, but to not shame people and make them hate themselves for being fat.
Because, guess what: even if someone wants to lose weight, that won't happen in the blink of an eye. That's a long process that sometimes take years, and that person will have to live with a fat body until they lose that weight, and it's unfair to make them hate themselves during this period. Fat people have the right to have self-esteem.
And some people may never manage to lose weight, be it because they are happy the way they are, or because they simply can't for a number of reasons, including medical ones.
It's not fair for people to make fat people hate themselves, that just makes fat people develop the feeling that they need to put their life on hold bc they can just start being happy when they are thin. But some may never get thing, and that condemns them to a life of sadness.
And for the people claiming "bUt hEaLtH" - as an ex-fat person, I ask you: which med school did you go to? Cuz like, you clearly think you're my doctor. Do you also go around giving unsolicited opinion to pregnant people about their health? To cancer patients? Now, that would be incredibly rude...

Melissa will fight and lose to Migen, however she's the one who's going to defeat him.
Yona is going to use a device to block Migen's magic. Him and Melissa are going to fight hand to hand combat, and he is clearly superior to Melissa and he's going to beat her up.
Up until then, Nine will not interfere because he understands he has to protect Yona because she's the one blocking Migen's magic.
However Migen is going to eventually overpower Melissa and he's going to bite her,and she will be unconscious. That's when nines werewolf blood will awaken, instead of Jack's: he realizes that the only person capable of saving Melissa is Yuri, who is trapped by Migen's magic, and thus he has to defeat Migen to release her if he wants to save Melissa.
But the fight was already won because Yona's device had a time limit and, after the time limit was over, Migen still couldn't use his magic. It is revealed then that Melissa used the opportunity to stab him with her sword, when Migen bit her, and since her sword is magic it cancels werewolf magic.
So Nine beats him up and the last thing I read was that Nine had fucked him up, and recognized that it was only possible because Melissa had hurt him with the sword.
And I really love that because it's consistent with the plot that Melissa is the heroine, so it's only coherent that she's the one who defeated Migen. She wasn't suddenly weakened down for the sake of ML protagonism. She fought bravely to the end, and Nine finished the job as part of his development. But SHE was the protagonist.

I think the lines and colors of this story are really beautiful, but I can't not notice the bad facial proportions. The boy looked like an alien in the first two pannels, hahaha. Such huge eyes and thin face.
Thank you, with the way it is being drawn, they say now she is beautiful but I just don't she it. They make her very tall(not that being tall is bad) and all the others, the clothes are very out of proportion, everytime I see them I think that they have never been ironed in their life. And I understand based on the period the novel takes place in that being fat is considered ugly (body shaming) but I can't stand that every single of those Isekais show that you have to slim down so people will start to look up to you and find you beautiful. Honestly she looked so much better when she had more weight( the drawing of her face was better at least).
P. S. Sorry if I overwhelmed you a bit in this response but I became so frustrated that as soon as I found someone that doesn't think she is drawn properly I just busted out everything I had to say!
