Oh my god, my chest just ached cuz I sympathized with the uke sooooo much and the feeling of being unwanted or uneeded and hhhhhhh I'm so glad they talked everything out q.q
I hate how they keep referring to the absorption of personalities as disappearing. They aren't really disappearing, so much as becoming one with the host personality (can't remember names lol). They still exist as parts of his personality, past, and trauma but they're now better integrated into who he is so he can display those parts of his personality without switching to a different persona entirely and not being able to remember what happens
