Lyk what are the consequences if he disobeyed. was he rly helpless in the past? Bec from these chapters it shows he can just refuse the father.

he initially didnt see a problem with it bc the father was helping him become the duke. also he didnt really care about her and even when he did, he didnt show it properly. also her mental health started to decline vvvv rapidly so that just made it worse
i'm not saying that he was cool and all bc he realized he made a shit ton of mistakes so at least he's trying to be better

That’s kinda harsh lol.. I believe if you keep on thinking that there is no way out, you’ll never find one. And he for sure thought that, he was so sure that there was nothing he could’ve done that could make the situation better, that nothing crossed his mind. Not saying to like him or anything, but when you’re in it, put on the spot, the stress of it all can make you forget the whole picture and the things you could’ve improved. Again, not saying to not hate me or not blame him, you do you, I just (at least just me lol) want to give him another chance. Because I think that this time, now that he knows what’s the worst could happen, he will try harder to change the situation that he initially thought was unchangeable.

If she rly cant stand living there she shouldve sold it or rented it out. Then she wouldnt have to rely on issei or the ex. She's the victim but it looked like shes the one who had to hide.
But i guess the author needed her helplessness for the plot. But if this is in irl shed be rly stupid.

I totally agree... Also from the divorcees from my family what I can see is that refusing to take money from the divorce is not at all a smart decision, you're just setting yourself up for more difficulties refusing something that SHOULD actually be yours (and potentially leaving that money for your husbands adulterous lover to spend soooo... although in Hayame’s case the lover immediately broke things off with her husband. Anyways, Hayame wouldn’t be in such a hopeless situation after Issei’s bitch fit if she had just taken ex husbands money *facepalms*)

Like she got reincarnated in a hard-mode novel and she's doing so so well. I guess it helped that she started as a baby and she didnt just suddenly transmigrate but living in the agriche is definitely not easy and shes handling it well. I sometimes even think of her as the original roxane. Sorry for the cannon fodder one. ^^

But i think the disatisfaction comes from the gray haired guy's character not being fleshed out. Theres not even a back story (iirc) and we dont understand how he came to like MC and why he rejected MC whe he already liked him in the first place.
The red haired guy even has more depth than him. I love that flashback on when he was confessed to by MC. Like we get it ryt, we have homophobic tendencies as children and its even internalized. I think he genuinely liked MC, he was just confused but im not sure if its good if he got together w MC when he didnt even properly apologize.
But yeah, i liked black haired guy the best. That last hug was so painful. T.T
