I rly don’t get why he’s considered as ugly, the novel’s illustration shows that he’s just as beautiful as Javier (knight) but it is refreshing that the mc is considered as ugly.
i think its because of the absolutely hideous faces he makes, and he is rather plain looking, so next to someone as breathtaking as javier he looks like a potato ╥﹏╥
I kinda feel sad for the og Lloyd, his family knew at the back of their mind that he did get replaced but ignored it because well, the new Lloyd is “better”. The knight knowing is not as sad but the family knowing is just sad.
Personally, apart from Javier and the higher ups like the King of Hell and messenger, no one would actually believe that Lloyd was replaced. They notice the changes. In fact, they’ve acknowledged that he’s different from what they know of him, but the expression package of the character Lloyd Fontera aka his endearingly “ugly” expressions is kind of what solidifies he’s still the Lloyd they know, just that he matured.
Doesn’t Lloyd’s brother kinda know it too? Javier already shared his suspicions to the brother and he trusts Javier’s judgement. As for the parents, didn’t they also already questioned if that was rly their son? It’s those moments plus more in the novel preludes that they somehow suspect it but definitely not for sure, maybe amnesia at the very least. I think it’s more on this Lloyd is much much better than the ogLloyd that they don’t even wanna think about it plus (SPOILER)

I wonder why Miya and her bio mom were living in such poor condition before the mom died, it’s not like the dad can’t support them nor would Teru-sama intercept the support. I feel like the bio mom felt guilty or didn’t know that the dad is married so she ran away leading them to live like that.
Teru-sama is so perfect. It’s kinda sad that her husband cheated on her despite being so hardworking and kind.
Nobody in that family (except Lorraina) unreasonably hated her at first in the first life before Lorainna put a spell on her, they were just indifferent to her or giving her time to get use to the environment but she turns and acted like a maid instead of proving herself. They were equally indifferent to Lorraina even with the spell on the fl but Lorraina is just good at making it seem like they like her plus she’s actively making a name of herself and eventually proving herself. Do notice that Lorraina wasn’t still given a pomegranate even with all that effort/scheming she did but they easily did it with the fl, it shows that it would’ve taken her half as effort Lorraine did in the first life. She could’ve asked for the moon’s cradle in the first life and they would’ve given it to her, it doesn’t necessarily have to be Lorraina.
