Wow, Eskal truly did have a character development compare to the other murderous-tyrant-tamed-by-FL kind of MLs like he genuinely changed. He actually turned into a person who treasure lives and does genuine good to others even without the FL seeing it. Other MLs with this setup does not usually changed but more on learned how to hide their murderous tendencies from the FLs and they didn’t usually become good to other people and only to the FL but this guy genuinely became a good person. This is refreshing to see.
