I don't like the jealous jump in your face type. Read alot of novels that where ruined by that which then turned into a harem since the mc had zero loyalty and couldnt say no to a clingy woman. Don't fret it's not a true harem. He does end up with some key female colleagues and disciples but he has no romantic interest in any of them. He also collabs with mayor old Taoist men and Dragon men. It's not as bad as some I've read.

Agreed after it took the nose dive a few times it did get better. The Trump "Ellen" gave me a rough time since I couldn't stop laughing at the hidden joke there. As there is no tag for Harem it's definitely only going to give vibes of a feel but never cross that line since he's been so determined to get back to the higher realm to exact his revenge on the wife that had murdered him.
