I don't exactly remember the novel (i read the raw it but it's long time ago so yeah....) but from what i can tell, if you saw the illustration in the first chapter, he actually didn't intend to kill him like the cut on his stomach didn't mean to kill(?) purpose, that's why he become furious when renato enter the imperial tomb.
He kinda has a twisted mind since he wants to make renato fully submit to him that's why he killed the other people that closest to him (his servant, etc), even kill renato mom and grandfather like to show him who's in control and have the authority now, basically to torture him emotionally.
I love it, but honestly, I'm wondering what he sees at restaurants for meat....
Also, he'd probably be called a furry if others know that mc is drawing humanoid animals. (Even more so, if he draws the couples being together)

ML is kinda pushy, arrogant, intruding, self centered, narcissistic but props to him that he isn't human scum and have the bare decency of respecting MC's wishes. (And isn't a rapist, kidnapper lol)
It's like he pushes around to find MC's boundary to find the limit and doesn't cross it once he hits it. Like yeah, what he is doing kinda push a lot of boundaries, but when MC pushes back, ML doesn't push it further and retreats. He just have an extreme way of doing that.
It's somehow kinda cute he doesn't realise he's in love. Like he just wants huggies and kisses and is throwing a tantrum because he cant get any. Upset that MC could like someone else. Etc.
But also kinda irking that "he's a dOminAnT aLpHa so he CANT be in love with MC " narcissistic much? I hate that he thinks cuz he's so much better than MC, he can't like MC. Urg.
Tbh in the novel I didn't find him that pushy. He was full of himself but he wasn't a complete dick to Seowon, he was just desperate to see him.

What do you mean he is not scum? He trash talks omegas as if Seowon is not an omega? If he's a decent human being, he would not speak I'll of his secondary gender no matter what his reason is.
