Also, he forcefully laid down his expectations and gave the ultimatum that if you don't agree to everything he wants, it's off the table. All or nothing. No compromise. It's an ew tactic. It didn't feel that way to me. Might have come off as him giving an ultimatum but It felt like he was just saying doesn't want a situationship or FwB and if that's what owen wants then he gonna go. And owen went with it so.... honestly idk how this will play out but with owen not being very vocal about what he wants makes it seem non-con, but I think the alpha communicated his wants properly its rly up to owen to decide. What do you mean he didn't ask for consent? He felt instant attraction so he asked if the uke also felt the same. Which he obviously did otherwise he wouldn't bring him to his house. Also the alpha guy clearly state what he wants in the "long-term" and also if you are forgetting he also mentioned that uke should think this over, he just doesn't wanna be his fuck buddy. If Uke wanted a fuck buddy relationship he's off the table that's what he pressed upon. And it is pretty reasonable demand. No sensible Alpha should be with a same space with omega in heat unless they want to take things further. Yes they just met, but it's kinda toxic to give two clear cut choices like reciprocate or ill leave immediately without even letting have some time or space for Owen process anything. Like how he feels, what the attraction meant to him etc. Just instant decision or nothing

They are both working adults lol and both very busy at that. That's how adult relationships work. Nobody wants to waste any time on things that had no potential to begin with. If your reading comprehension is any good you'd understand that Owen wasn't forced to reciprocate. He was just asked to take things seriously with him or at least have the decency not to treat their relationship as "fuckbuddy relationship". Then he can decide what if he likes him or not. The way you are saying ultimatum as if the Alpha was asking for Bonding forcefully! Also in omega verse that's the kind of ultimate commitment. They are both taking their time while respecting each other's opinion.

But I would argue that it's not an ultimatum, cuz he has a choice-- and he doesn't lose anything from this interaction if he refuses him. It's not like a life or death situation where if he doesn't decide now he can't live without him. When a person is older, they dont want to waste time---and given the fact that both have business backgrounds, I dont think Owen took it as a form of pressure at all. I mean everyone process things differently, and you might think its toxic from your pov, but the way I see it, Owen probably needed that straightforwardness--what with being omega and a wealthy one to boot. I'm sure a lot of people approach him with hidden intentions--thats why his aunt reacted that way. That directness the ML gives comes with honesty that expresses, "hey, I'm not here to play, im serious about you. Now the choice is yours"--and there was no malice behind his words. Let's just say I would rather judge a character by their intentions because even actions can be misleading. But that's just how I view the alphas character profile. On the other hand, I won't deny that it is definitely giving "love-bombing". But since it's an omegaverse, and pheromones basically hint to a fated pair, I'm more flexible with my evaluation. It's a case to case basis. I'm more irritated at owen tbh for not being more vocal about what he wants, but I can also credit it to the pheromones. Maybe his body just knows that they're meant to be even though his mind is hesitant.
