Rereading for the nth time and it makes me more fond of the characters. I remember people fighting over the ending in 2020. I love the story and its ending. It's the best and most appropriate for them. Jowoon is my favorite in the sense that he's more affectionate and sure that he will live his life until the end with Haesoo, we hear alot about his thoughts, too. And I love Haesoo with and despite all his anxieties and fears, he may have been the main character but his thoughts were always muddied and hidden under layers of surface so it was easy to hate him and think he's hateful as well. I'm glad he chose Jowoon, he clearly cannot live without Jowoon and he was dying inside.
Taekyung was still an outsider until the end, but his relationship with Haesoo gave him what he needed the most—sincerity with others and connecting with them in the same level. I know that it did him good. He also has great friends ans I'm glad they stopped him from potentially self-destructing.
I think it's written very well and has the perfect ending for everyone.

Diana should be stripped off of her title. She doesn't even have the capabilities, decision, brain, and heart-wise. If she was to become an empress, everyone would suffer. She's not willing to step up, take responsibility, accountability, and get rid of her bias and personal feelings. This is aside from Hestia's revenge. Kael should be smart enough to know that, so him not even thinking of this is pissing me off, it's a betrayal.
If Diana really stays on that throne, she's gonna be a pig the whole empire will be feeding.
In my humblest opinion, Taeha underestimated how much affection Haesoo built over time for him. She will worry about him more, especially since he has a baby age and face. I even think she won't give a fuck about that trash.
