Comparing this to Peach Sorbet is not fair, too, that manhwa is such a headache.
I think her being against her partner's potential job wasn't bad either. It's true that he already had a job, plus he's studying. They communicated what they thought about that job, and he was okay with it. He was extremely jealous and hurtful as a FWB, he wouldn't open up his insecurities, he had inferiority complex, too. If he took the job with the biggest reason that he wanted to provide more for her, he wouldn't have been able to provide anything at all. If they had lesser time together, it would impact his emotions and mentality more, and miscommunications would arise again (he was clearly bad at it). So what was the point of overworking and making money he couldn't even enjoy with her anyway? Plus, it gave him time to focus on studying. He had other plans, too, it was not like she's asking her to be her abused househusband.
The biggest shit in this manhwa is that blond fucker. Haesung is so smart and sensitive; she knew something was wrong with him but as a woman, you try to avoid confrontations regardjng those matters (getting her number from a restricted file, violating stuff; inappropriately touching her during the night swimming sesh, aka sexual assault; being fatphobic; and elitist, etc). He was a fucking manipulative misogynist. I'm so mad Haesung did not find out how he talked about her, how he stirred up shit to hurt and manipulate Jiwoon, and how Jiwoon did not find out the reasons for the things he found hurtful (especially the jacket. That was so wrong).
TL;DR: glad I gave it a shot. Not the best, but never compare it to Peach Sorbet ever again.
