I get it. Sadomasochistic enemies to lovers isn't your thing. But outside of the inverted bodice-ripper elements, I genuinely can't tell if I hate the FL or not. I like that she's strong and emotionally muted, but I don't vibe with the ways she's cruel. I don't enjoy that she allows people to watch and touch him willy-nilly. I also wish we got to see more of the ML being an a-hole before we jumped in. Or maybe we could see him continue to be an arrogant a-hole to other people? IDK. The rich kid, spoiled brat thing is cute and I think the creator is going for a comeuppance thing with him. I just wished it was more fleshed out (all the puns intended).

Everyone in this sucks so much ass, especially the FL. But I can't stand Ijun as well. She should have told him what was going on from jump, but I can't believe someone like Ijun is just accepting everything that's happening at face value. Ijun in the OG timeline would never. Please please pleasssse have him regress as well, because even if they make it to the happy ending, this Ijun is just as bad as everyone else. At least the FL has the moral high ground on her side, even if she's being a total idiot about this. She should just get together with the other guy who works for her bio parents. He's like, the least problematic person in this whole series.
This series is gunna put me in the hospital.

I agree with you about Siyeon should have marry the guy that works for her parents. As soon as I read that chapter about him "confess" that he should be the son in law of her parents. Siyoen just brush him off even he seem to be a very nice and good looking guy, she probably would be more happy with him. I've read a spoiler saying there wouldn't be any happiness anytime soon for a while since Ijun would be holding a grude like "forever".

I'm positive the way he's acting is because he thinks he's more serious about her than she is about him. We primarily get the story from her perspective so it's easy to say that he's being cavalier and annoying. But...if you think about it from his POV, he's the the one initiating everything from their first kiss to their confession and she's constantly blowing him off or running away. He even indicates that he was sure she already knew that he loved her. She thinks he's being flippant and teasing her when he says stuff, but he's probably being sincere. She just doesn't believe him because she already think he's a playboy, even though we haven't seen any indication of that beyond him bringing in a crowd of women to his shop. TT.TT
He has a lot of ambition, but he also has a shit ton of books that would help him if they ever got married and he had to inherit or help with the business. And yeah, he doesn't contact her after their love confession, but she doesn't either. She says she loves him and is hopeful for their future, but she's also always waiting on him to make the move first.
Just to be clear, I like all these characters. I think this story is very sweet and they feel like real people. I just feel the need to defend the ML because for someone reason people really hate him when he's not actually done anything bad lol.
Fish Boy is cute too, but I think this is just a case where the both of the main characters are underestimating how the other feels.

This literally could have been fixed with a little bit of consideration and a conversation. Instead of being concerned that she only ever feels pain when they have sex, he gets mad?! I hate him. He's horrible at sex. I feel so bad for his wife. He seems to genuinely care about his country, but he's a complete idiot when it comes to his wife. I hope he learns his lesson in a big way. I hope by the end he grovels to her. Sexy Teacher is the best and I can't wait for their romance to blossom.

I was gunna say it was good until the chairman showed up but it looks like this story beat is going to be tied up quickly, thank god. The first love thing came completely out of left field and for a second there it felt like we were reading a completely different novel. Let's get back to the supernatural high school drama, please.

Ugh, this is going to turn out to be a reincarnation romance, isn't it? I was already kind of meh on the FL to begin with, but this just killed it for me. Sucks, because the art is really pretty, and the initial concept of a human working at a supernatural cafe was cool. But that's not actually what this is about. ╥﹏╥
Is it just me, or does the author seem to love the villainess more than the Queen? She gets a lot of screen time and a semi-sympathetic background, but she's so garbage I can't get on board. I really hope they're not setting up a redemption arch for her. I think she's being used a surrogate for spicy scenes since the two MCs haven't gotten very far, but I'm getting real tired of it. TT.TT I want more of the MCs and less of her antics!!
I agree. The author needs to focus more episodes on developing the Queen and the teachers' relationship. Everyone else could die for all I care. They're terrible people and make everyone's lives harder. No one asked for those scenes of the concubine and the king. Plus she's ugly. GIVE US THE QUEEN AND HER TRUE MAN.
I think it's to make us hate that b**** more. That by just seeing that name, we will abhor her greatly. Hahahahahha
