Ok, but look how he blushed when he comments about her weight. I think he’s secretly pleased with himself about it. “She loves my food so much she’s gaining weight”, “she looks healthier.”, “she’s getting curvier…” that kinda thing.
It’s still rude to bring up body weight and size, but men are kinda lame in that department and don’t seem to understand the social pressure.

Maybe the child's mom is a fox beast, which could explain his fox-like qualities if he turns out to be a human.

bro poppin em out since middle school.....or...high school??? how old is that kid suppose to be sob. like if he's in 3rd year uni and assuming he's been to the military already that'd be like 10 years since middle school 1st year so IT'S PLAUSIBLE (but let's say the kids like 5 or 6 so it was high school wheeze)

I just assumed the kid was under 5 years old since he's still being held. Maybe like 3 or 4? Fox guy could have a teen dad situation going on (end of highschool/beginning of college/military). Or it could have happened after his military service. Aren't they supposed to be in their third year of school, or am I misremembering?

I thought the exact same thing. He is probably human and has a kid. He is even pushing for her to have alone time with who I assume is the ML, so, it's safe to say that the dude does not see her as a potential romantic partner whatsoever

Also, to throw this out there, the kid could be his brother, but they have different mothers. The little boy’s mother(his stepmother) could be a fox, which would explain the age difference and his fox-like aura !

I just meant that she's making unconfirmed assumptions about him. She keeps saying he's a fox beast but no one but her has said that. She just looked at him and was like "Oh, fox vibes." Woojin is the only confirmed beast and even the FL's mom is surprised that there seem to be so many beast people at one university.

And separately the FL is assuming the young kid who looks like him is his brother, when--whether or not he's a fox beast--could just as likely be his son. lol My point is she's just basically asked him 0 questions about himself and thinks she has all the answers.

He may be an idiot yes. But you saying that is as good as admitting you were spouting nonsense in your original post. Because wdym "does literally nothing to comfort her as she miscarries". He tried and brought the children. Not from his selfish wishes or wanting boast slap in his wife's face that "she failed as a mother", but because he genuinely wanted to cheer her up. Which is also a selfless act cause he also lost a child that day. He could also grieve and could have gone mad like his wife but his first instinct was how to cheer her up. As a father, he also showed his love and care for his child when he said "so this is how it feels to burry your child" when he did it alone. He literally became the "haligi ng tahanan/pillar of the household" cause he stood strong and held a funeral for their child when his wife physically and mentally couldn't participate. Call him an idiot or anything you want. That doesn't change the fact that he is still a good person at the end of the day.

Sure okay whatever. I stand by my statement. He didn't do anything to comfort her, he brought those kids because HE wanted to be around children. He says so. I never said he was a "bad person" I said he was garbage. He was written to be so stupid, which is not great for a romantic lead.

Lmao, stop lying. He never said he wanted to be around children. He said the moment he saw the twins, especially the twin girl's purple eyes, he was reminded of his wife. So he decided to bring them thinking it could cheer her up.

I'm not lying. He says "Oh... It wasn't Merhen who wanted to hear the baby's cries and feel the warmth, it was me." Chapter 6 page 15. He brought them to her because having the twins made HIM feel better. He thought he was doing her a favor, but realized he was doing it to comfort himself.
