But for me I don't get why Jaekyung would fall for him since Dan is not that different from all the people apparently he has slept with, except for him working with Jae's team. Have they trauma bonded? lol I don't think he in particular had the opportunity to "like" Dan in that way. Dan on another note, was your typical bottom falling for his abuser (but hey!! not anymore right?)
I won't criticize Mingwa necessarily for presenting characters like these (bc most people digs this type of stories i guess) but I still think the story is kinda meh, I was genuinely hoping to see something more interesting but it all feels cliché and forced. YOU CAN DISAGREE but these are my thoughts so far

Here, there's a clear reason why between A to B. Jaekyung wins his matches after sex because a person often performs better when they're less stressed. It's like doing better on an exam after a good night's rest. I'd be hard pressed to call sleeping well a jinx to success.
I had guessed this in a previous post and some ppl were disappointed by the idea. I think it's because we expected more from this 'jinx' since it started everything. But I can see why JJK calls it a jinx also. Performers and competitors can be superstitious when it comes to their pre-show/match rituals to boost success and they find comfort in routines. To someone as hellbent on being successful as JJK, I can see why he's come to call sex a jinx. His character seems to find comfort in a strict, repetitive routine, i.e. working out, drinking milk, sobriety, wearing cologne, etc.

Ian: walk in an alley minding his business
tj: finds Ian and drags him to the toilet and guides what he selfishly wants to do.
The only problem is Ian needs to take a stand against tj actions. That the only criticism as of now and how you say the oppsite of what actually happens dilutes the storytelling.
1. Ian did not go back to tj, he was found by tj. 2. Ian did not say his life is miserable without tj, he said tj leaving after the funeral (after Ian gave him a answer) made him feel miserable.
3. Ian did not imply pleasure in their sex, he implied it's only a familiar feeling, how their sex is always conditioned. That's it.
I feel like this fandom is just a bunch of surface level readers that ruin the story. Tj is rightfully hated. Jo is not. Half the shit tj has told Ian yall would burn Jo at the stake if he had said it. Cut the hypocrisy already and take off the rose tinted glasses when discussing what is actually happening between their words and actions.
