The ML shows so much disrespect and deflection towards the MC. The MC is also starved of love growing up apparently, he doesn't see the ML as a red flag.
I was really holding out for ML to have character development but I'm still not seeing it.
I remember the first time I read this and I loved the story, but my second read through I'm not really a fan of the relationship. He just let ML walk all over him emotionally and get away with his s***** treatment. MC really has rose colored glasses on and is willing to let go of all the red flags in this relationship and it's leaving a bad taste for me.
I'm hoping chapter 78 and on will fill that gap so that it doesn't feel so ick.
I'm on chapter 85 and I guess the ML trying to communicate with MC is sufficient enough. I'm still annoyed about how he handled that situation but I don't get the ick anymore.

ML has antisocial personality disorder, in other words a psychopath. I 100% believe he faked those tears to manipulate MC because he didn't want to give up his possession. I do not feel that the ML genuinely loves MC in a romantic way.
