is genuinely one of the hottest stories i've ever seen. like sorry to the moral police on here but the s/m theme, the hate/love chemistry between dohyeok and siwoon...yum. i love seeing arrogant assholes like dohyeok being put in their place and his moments of vulnerability even when he puts on a strong front; love ppl like siwoon who seem "nice" to everyone but are also emotionally uninvested become uncharacteristically emotional (and mean) with dohyeok. dohyeok clearly likes siwoon but bc he's so bad w/ emotions and is used to just commanding everyone he expresses it badly/is unaware/tries to control siwoon through threats; meanwhile siwoon is aware of his growing feelings but is conflicted over feeling care towards an asshole so he tries to be cold and callous. like i couldn't even read the main couple bc it was so bland, but i'm sooo intrigued to see how this relationship develops. if ppl have similar recs let me know bc this is hitting all my kinks lol

this is seriously some of the best character writing i've seen in this genre lol don't judge it by the first few chapters! an actual good depiction of miscommunication in relationships and how to start trusting/being vulnerable with one another

I agree! Tons of people in here bashing both characters but seems like either they don’t have experience with real relationships or they like their media to be all fantasy. I love how real these characters are and the conflicts. The insecurity, the neediness, the lack of openness, every time I see an update I can’t wait to see what is happening with these 2!

i love how this is rly a case of incompatible ways of communicating (or lack thereof) instead of just one-sided assholery..even though.jaeyoung was wrong in the first instance he still accepted the results and was looking for an opportunity to talk things out with sangwoo since they would be working together? and even though sangwoo was right in doing what he did I do think he's wrong in treating jaeyoung as an enemy not worthy of talking to and literally doesn't seem to care enough about ppl around him to remember their names looool....both are flawed characters and that's what makes this so good!
anyone reminded of pride and prejudice? dohyeok's arrogance and pride stopping him from expressing his actual (growing) affection and reliance on siwoon (imo his feelings are really obvious now) and instead everything he actually says is a threat and nasty LOL (bc he thinks threatening siwoon is the only way to keep siwoon) meanwhile siwoon is aware of dohyeok's trauma and maybe his own concern for dohyeok but keeps telling himself dohyeok is a horrible person who deserved what he got so he purposefully stops himself from caring too much. SOOO excited to see how this plays out i'm obsessed w/ the dynamics
