His unnecessary elusiveness is kinda getting on my nerves ╮( ̄~ ̄)╭

so we gonna casually ignore the times the Duke raped Jace but blame him when he tries his hardest not to get back together with him cause despite all the harassment he faced from the Duke he still cares about the Duke enough to leave cause mind you he knows what it's like when rumors get out about a man dating a man, he doesn't want the Duke to end up in the same situation again and if you actually remember the plot you'd know the only reason he met the Duke was because nobody would let him work anywhere because of said rumors but also the harassment of the fat ginger guy

It's not that we ignore it, it's that they worked that out, moved on and this is another issue... the duke knows full well what he's getting into, he realized his society is impartial against homosexuals in the party and when he found out what the ginger guy did and what happened to jace in the past. If after all that he still wanted to chase his love that's on him. It's Jace's decision if he wanted to get back obviously, it's just that his response to it, not even listening and almost as if he's making the decision for the duke (about abdicating), is getting tiresome and a bit selfish. The pacing of this arc isn't helping either. I feel like the author is unnecessarily stretching it out.
I love this girl so fucking much
