The author is aware of seungho's toxic personality and agrees that he'll be in jail in real life. I just don't want to see y'all whiny comments saying y'all like the author to "change seungho's personality or else I'm gonna drop this" when in fact the author stated that the plot has already been set in stone. It's either you leave or don't complain.
'Now that the author is aware' ....
ehh, this Q&A was release over a year ago, they just reprinted. The author and everyone else who is not mentally challenged are aware that IN REAL LIFE Seungho crimes means jail.
Everybody who understands that fiction doesn't necessarily needs to fit real life understand that the author is just stating the obvious. She is not saying that she will treat her fictional characters Seungho as if he was a real life person.
Is that really what you all got from this part?
How do you guys think this story will end?
What story and what clues have the author release since this Q&A?
Do you really think the author didn't change Seungho at all since one year ago?
Do you all realize that the author is the biggest promoter of this ship with the official art who by the way also changed to more romantic as the story progressed?
By the way, I also agree that this plot is set in stone like any classic 'monster to redeemed seme' trope with this formula.
I think it's only fair that we ask people not to whine about a story they know how it will end. This is clearly a very well know trope Yaoi, one that no one can pretend they don't know how it goes. The author is writing a story where Seungho gets a redemption, they fall in love, they end happy together. Her art is the biggest clue of what plot is set on stone.
How I wish that people really made an assessment of how they really believe this story ends and choose to either leave or stop complaining ( that the story doesn't fit real life moral standard).
However I have no doubt that by the end of this story when we see exactly the endgame that it's expected, there will be people whining referring to this Q&A pretending they were fooled into believing that 'Seungho would end up in jail'.
The author even ends the Q&A questioning why the hell not Seungho and Nakyum can't be happy. In real life they couldn't be, obviously.
Match the last question to the one about Seungho and Inhun and you see that the author is clearly explaining the difference between fiction ( Seungho can have a happy ending, why not?) and reality ( Men who does what Seungho does ends badly).
Let's all make a deal: come to terms with the kind of story you picked to choose and no more whining if it doesn't magically turns into something else.
Umm... i don't clearly know if this is directed to me because the other half of your essay says "you all". Even if this was reprinted from a year ago, it means that they are still reminding everyone that this is happening in the story whether they like it or not. Yes, every reader is aware that seungho would be in jail by now in real life. I'm just stating that the "author agrees of seungho jail time", it pertains as a wake up call to everyone new and jumped on the hate bandwagon towards the author for making seungho not ideal to the reader's expectations. If you understood my topic, you wouldn't have to make such a long essay. However, I come to terms to your last statement that haters should fuck off.
Sorry, I always write long 'essays', kind of a bad habit. Thanks for reading if you make it to the end.
You all meant as indeed to the many posters who mistakenly think this is new revelation and not aware that this was written over a year ago.
I don't think they are 'reminding everyone', it's just a Q&A being reprinted to fill the gap since they promised one. If anything it should make people realize that between the author 'reminding' everyone that this is a fictional story where the bad guy can get a happy ending but it seems to be taken the other way around, with people really believing the author is some child who doesn't know herself that 'in real life' her character would be getting a different treatment.
I understood your topic very well and I am glad we agree that if people are not prepared for a story where Seungho is treated as real life character and will whine about the author giving the character a redemption story, change his ways and even why not a happy ending, they should fuck off.
