I hate to be the nayseigher, but I really hope their moment is a dud and they can rekindle it later. I think Haesoo’s and the older brother’s feelings are legit but I don’t want to explore it while Haesoo’s in drunk seasonal depression. I feel odd even posting this because every other comment is like “yeah fuck em” . . and I’m like ... eh, yes eventually but not right now.. e.e
Yeah yeah, with how the story has gone with Dojin/Haesoo I should probably just conform to the horndog omega trope (don’t get me wrong love this story) but for this side couple I’d like to see things taken slower. Especially considering how mature and calculating the older brotner is represented as, and he’s not in literal heat like the alpha/omega main. I’d just respect his character a lot more if he waited.
In summary: put that drunk man to bed but keep the briefs on please
Like omg chapter 65-66 was too much to handle I am just so glad that their relationship has upgraded to love and consent and holy fuck DGs face when Alex ate the booty like groceries and way he wanted so badly to take him out. I really love the place of respect that their relationship has come too. I was really crying that this is everything DG needs finally, someone who cares and will lick the spot. Like wtf this whole last 2 chapters was a masterpiece, all of the bullshit has finally.
It feels weird seeing negative comments while I’m like “cries”.
There. I said it. May as well get this off my chest too. I thought it was cute at first, but it seems stupid and I think it will waste time to pursue. If the dirty blonde reciprocates the black-haired friend’s feelings then it will turn into a stereotypical best childhood buddies trope, which was great in a story like Elektel Delusion tbfh, but in this manhwa it feels distracting.
I’m hoping it will end up unrequited love but they are able to stay friends or accept that each other are different — if that makes sense. It could be used as a separate lesson of the more likely what if your love isn’t returned. Or show that they can still care about each other as friends. I have a feeling they’ll be forced together though, considering the author couldn’t even expel the guy who tried to kill Minkyu.
Sigh. And those are my thoughts.
Tired of these stories where there’s a third party who does some fucked up could-have-killed-you shit and no one wants to even fucking tell the teacher. Like, this kind of logic really oven-fires my goddamn buttered croissant because friendship is NOT magic, and repent sure as hell won’t heal his cracked rib, swollen leg, concussion, like what the fuck.
I read a comment that said “spending more time on him with the police would keep him in the story” — literally he could have just been expelled then since he nearly killed another student, charges could have not been pressed. That would keep him out of the story, like, forever, whereas now we’ll probably see him in school waving hi like a little bitch.
I don’t mean to swear and speak wildly but this is like the 4th or 5th manhwa I’ve read where “I’m sorry” heals wounds inflicted by actual crimes. We know Minkyu wouldn’t press charges but I was hoping at least Jongyun would tell someone, as he seemed like he wanted too.
I’m just really shook right now. I can’t handle this trope.
I absolutely agree. At worse, that was attempted murder. At best, that was some form of assault.
No matter what, the police should have been brought in. Even if the MC decided to not press charges or even report the villain, the teachers & parents would have continued to ask questions until the truth came out and then brought in the police.
It's just poor and lazy writing for it all to just go away so easily.
Yeah. I thought I’d get way more downvotes, so I’m glad someone agrees. It IS lazy writing and after reading the same trope over and over it starts to make me confused. It’s not like an age-gap or some other tag that I can look for and just avoid, there’s no way to know if an author is going to get lazy with crime, so it sucks when I have my hopes up and they’re shattered.

Cant wait for season 1, but this is worth so many rereads
