Bruh this seems more like a fight between the king and the queen, and Etienne just got the worst role on it. Its so sad that through out his whole life, Cirrus couldnt rely on anyone but himself. Like bruh i get that the father is depressed because of his wife death, but he could have ATLEAST helped his son cope until he slowly accepted that his mom is gone. Or maybe sure, this might be what he thinks is what would help them move on but that is only for his on benefit
