There wasn't any romance between them when he was malnourished and I saw their relationship as guardian and ward. There isn't even any romance between them now really even when he did catch up too his age. Now lets talk about the other stories where mc is literally a fucking baby and the ml changes her fuckin diapers or she is his adopted sister/non blood related sister but grew up as siblings trope bullshit. Even when MC is a literal animal, no human-hybrid or previous human form, nobody bats a fucking eye and the ones who do are the minority.
