Saliou is selfish i think? I mean like he doesn’t even care about the uke in the earlier ch but when he knows the connection between uke and the vampire, he starts to help the uke. don’t mind me if i’m wrong.... please don’t hate me it’s just my opinion

In my opinion I don't think that Saliou was selfish, but his priorities were different. The werewolf species was almost extinct and vampires were the cause, so he got older and held onto the necklace in hopes of capturing the last vampire (Paulo). And when they were younger... I don't think you can expect a 7-8 year old child to grasp the important of friendship yet. Gabriel was the one who moved away later. He literally moved somewhere else and started up his own church. Once Saliou found out Paulo was the vampire, he followed him and ended up reuniting with Gabriel. I feel like Saliou was more fixated on capturing the vampire, which also assists the detective with Paulo's murders and curse on the little boy. Once Paulo's immortality is taken away and he is killed, Saliou won't always have to be on edge about dying and he can finally settle down with Gabriel. I do admit that the romantic relationship between Gabriel and Saliou isn't very strong though. Hopefully they can be friends again.
idk, this doesn't mean I hate Saliou or anything. but the romance between them didn't make an impression on my heart, because they met again after separating and they fell in love again, but I think it's too fast and too sudden. I don't know what other people think (maybe it's different from what I think) but my opinion is like that (●'◡'●)ﾉ
