the whole thing is really cute and all, but please tell me i wasn't the only one off-putted by the fact that Jooin referred to the two as his 'kids' for the major part of the story but was also in a relationship with them, like 0-0
everyone saying he's homophobic while completely forgetting the fact that 1) they're an idol group, thus they have to maintain that image to the public and keep it clean - dating can make things messy, eSPECIALLY dating within groups, that's just a whole storm 2) he's the leader, so he's obviously going to be worried whether the group can still go on like this or not 3) Let's be real, would you really like it if someone wrote things about you and other people, pairing you together and doing all kinds of stuff? it's kinda,, hmm , off putting in the least, especially when they send it to you to read,
fortunately, idol industry is starting to accept their idols having relationships with other people, there are multiple examples out there. the second point makes sense, but as for the third one, i think it just depends on the person. if it were me, although i don't think anyone has ever made fanfictions out of me and someone else LMAO, i would be pretty interested and i would just laugh and joke about it. sure it's kinda weird, but i wouldn't feel negative towards it. it's interesting, knowing how other people perceive me and someone else's relationship, or just fantasize in general. has someone ever fantasized making out with me? probably not, but it would be something i want to know about since it's so amusing lol.
hmm, your points are valid. And for the idol thing, yeah, as time progresses, some companies are being more free with it, but this situation just reminded me of a group that disbanded and it's speculated that it was due to two members dating and then cheating happened or something.
And for the fanfics, I get what you're saying, and it's pretty neat of people to write things about others ( don't get me wrong, fanfics are a whole 'nother verse of literature and some are just exquisite ), but I guess I was thinking about people knowing that other people write hardcore stuff about them and all that, ><
