I'm not trying to invalidate any of you your experiences because it is completely valid to be conscious about your body, but even the people that society perceives as 'skinny' can have so many insecurities rooted in their body and things that just disgust them about themselves even though other people perceive it as 'pretty'. I say this because I've seen all kinds of people be insecure about their bodies and many people invalidating others' experiences purely because they might 'fit' or come close to the beauty standard ( which is a bunch of bs but it's still ingrained in our brains and it's not going to go away any sooner )
