Me too, I truly loved that one.
What our ML has is considered a curse right?
If it’s a curse will we find out who cursed him? Or why he’s cursed?
Will we find out more information on the base of the curse, like what’s it about? And triggers? A reason no one could lift it?
Because it’s obviously affected by his emotions, as well as the way people around him treat him.
When he gets angry, jealous or nervous about being left by our mc, he tends to get worse and have a relapse.
Or when his parents treat him cruelly he tends to get worse I think.
When our mc came and started loving him, and caring wholeheartedly about him, his mood improved and so did his health.
Not to mention whenever our mc is desperately looking after him when he’s ill, or wishing with all her heart for him to get better he takes a step to recovery.
But the doctor has also tried hard for his recovery but that didn’t work? Maybe that’s because our ML saw him as a man doing his job, or a man who looks at him with scientific interest. Not as someone who cares.
So is the cure to his curse, someone who cares wholeheartedly about him, along with the ML himself believing they care about him????
Just a thought
In the beginning we were told that, that princess will be able to heal him, cause she's special or something. But I thought since he got better thanks to MC she may also hold the power to cure him, since she is the MC and came from outside the novel. You know
This might seem kiddish for me to even mention but... isn't it the power of love, that is slowly curing him? (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ The curse was only written in the princess language, she doesn't possess the power to cure him. She just showed him a bit of love out of sympathy. (Which ended as empty gestures) ╥﹏╥
True that she has a special ability that can read the marks on his face,
but I think my theory still fits in because we are told in the original book, when the princess met him in adulthood he wasn’t immediately cured by her. She had to slowly get close to him, slowly reach his heart through her actions, and in turn the ML confessed believing she felt the same way.
I think the princess got close to our ML in a similar way to our dearest MC did, so love and affection still play a big part in him recovering and the curse. And you can’t tell me you didn’t notice whenever the ML and the mc fight he mysteriously gets worse.
We weren’t given the full details of his recovery in the original book, so that’s why I believe my theory still stands
A extra bit that’s has a 90% of being wrong,
When he gets rejected he turns hella evil, tried to take over the throne, can you imagine if that wasn’t just normal anger but possible relapse of his condition???? I just thought that would be interesting (definitely a reach)
It might be I never thought about it that hard I just pictured magic MC powers saving the day.
