We are at a point in the manga that shows the characters should trust no one. Azusa is shown as a cutthroat, clever, smart character that doesn't trust anyone and will do anything for win. He has so much potential for character development yet the Chise is just wasting away with weird new plot twists that have no place in the story now. She introduced a new development at the end of last volume but instead on focusing on that the plot is looping. How many times must we see Azusa's ass get saved from a gang rape. This was just stupid, and especially if the releases are monthly, there should be more progress in the plot. It's sickening especially since this manga has so much potential for a good thriller story. Sad. Truly.

I agree, as what makes Azusa Azusa is his huge pride that prevents him from basically anything. I want to see Azusa break the rules(which could be an arc on it's own), and which would attract the attention of the people that arranged this entire thing and trying bring him down and in the process Azusa would become better friends with the other couples along side having a delicate balance of power shift with Karino(basically be a power couple that could potentially ruin lives together) and more betrayal and psychological mind games ofc

I just hope (and pray) that Ogawa-sensei does not make Yuuya develop Stockholm Syndrome and using that as a reason to finally break down and submit to Karino. I would love if she took the unconventional route and do not have to utilise "falling in love with your rapist" as a way to develop the relationship dynamics between Yuuya and Karino. We all (at least for me) fell in <3 with Yuuya's character because we've seen that he has been through numerous BS and hasn't broken down and even though we know Karino's purpose is to break Yuuya completely (emotionally, physically, psychologically, etc), I cheered for Yuuya every time he did not fully "submit" to Karino. Yes, he is raped repeatedly and blackmailed into rape along with other things, but you could see it in his character and his eyes that he is still defiant and not completely submissive to Karino.

I wish that beside mutual confession (it's BL so they will probably admit their feelings) Karino will honestly regret his actions and ask (beg) for forgiveness
from Azusa, else it would be really disappointing.
(like after 'that' happened in chapter 8, Atsumu bite Kuze and told him not to treat him like a little rabbit).
My point is I would really hate it if they would just brush off all that sexual assult and raping like nothing happened.

If Karino has to suffer in order to recognise that he wants to be by Yuuya's side, that is fine. What I am frightened of is Ogawa-sensei using gang rape or something more horrendous just to cause Yuuya to suffer, which then will "awaken" how much Karino cared for Yuuya. You can make Karino suffer in numerous ways, just please do not subject Yuuya to anymore hurt just to make that point. ╥﹏╥

Omg, I got the character names mixed up. Lolness, I thought Eno was the teacher from the text box XD. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe Eno will use that teacher as a pawn to hurt Yuuya? Geez... Eno is worse than Karino. ( ̄へ ̄)

If the author is planning for Karino to save Yuuya, that's okay since it furthers or influences their relationship dynamics. However, if it is just to augment the reasoning that Yuuya developed Stockholm Syndrome or saw Karino as his "saviour," then well, it's taking the conventional route and is rather disappointing. What makes Yuuya's character is that he doesn't take BS from anyone and maybe that's what attracted Karino to him?

I don't think it's Stockholm syndrome. People with that act differently.Azusa is too strong for that and too stubborn plus he never quits , he still wants to be king. Chapter 19 is really powerful. First Azusa is the one who wants to have sex this time, second Karino dislocated his shoulder for Azusa and third he's a liar, he told Azusa that he only saved him because atsumu begged him. And Azusas epic speech was everything ( to inukai and the anji)

Uhm...I didn’t say that Yuuya has or had Stockholm Syndrome in my post. There is an IF in my post. My intention was that I did not want for Yuuya to develop or developed Stockholm Syndrome if Ogawa-sensei plans to have Karino save Yuuya. A lot of people throw around the term Stockholm Syndrome easily, I don’t do that.

Lol good luck with that. Knowing Chise's previous characters I can say that she likes abusive relationships turned into something more meaningful, like, both of the main interests get extremely dependent on each other or it's some great fluff stuff. Also, I am pretty sure Karino was already in love Azusa even before the game started, seeing his mother and the environment he grew up in, it is safe to assume that he doesn't know how to show his love and bullys his lover like in every yaoi manga ever. As far as Azusa liking Karino, I'm pretty sure there is still a long way to go but he is melting at small gestures like being nice to his mother who is a very influential and important part of his life, and the treating Azusa kindly in the third chapter because it isn't fun when Azusa is depressed (this is probably me justifying Karino but if I thought of Karino to be a rapist I couldn't enjoy the manga and just be annoyed as fuck at the hypocrisy like some are)

This is why i like her manga because it's crazy , this is my opinion i want their relationship to be better but i dont want karino to change too much because then it would be a typical manga. And it's not a monthly release.. it's on a hiatus again. The plot isn't slow it feels slow because of the breaks. I really wish we would get more chapters a year. But chapter 19 is the last one this year it seems.

I apologise if I made you feel uncomfortable about reading this manga. (︶︿︶) From an objective standpoint, it does seem like Karino is continuously raping Yuuya. And it's not pathetic, I am hoping that from their sexual uhm...activities, Karino and Yuuya could develop something with their relationship, and that it's not purely rape or sex.

I have honestly had enough of her playing the role of a pushover for these men. At this point, I am being exploited by weakness which are dilfs(the emperors are so hot). You know what would have made a good season finale? Her awakening magic. She has gotten owned by these disgusting men (excluding her family and teacher) why too many times now. It's just painfully frustrating to read. This is why I hate light novels, they make the "strong female lead" basically bullied and deprived of any pride but with a witty internal monologue as if it's worth anything. Where is the "strong" in "strong female" tho? At the end of chapter 56, Just when I finally thought that the rapey dude would help trigger her magic Junsu came ruined my hopes and dreams. I don't even like love triangles, why am I reading this...
This is so bad. I am dying. The doctor is a work of art.
