I think the author of this is trying to put way to many ideas in one story. It's all over the place.
I don't think so. I just think he's trying to explain too much of it at once within too few pages.
Take UQ holder, a far more convoluted manga than this. However it's easier to understand since the info comes in bits and pieces.
"there'll always be someone stronger than you," then sets up an ambush. Yeah, that's not stronger you're compensating because you know he'd kick your ass if it was head on.

I'm starting to hope that the ghost chick, forgot her name, is just in a coma since we've seen her in a wheelchair. Like she could've gone through a trauma that caused her to slip into a coma, which lead to her having an out of body experience.
