The Story of a Yakuza Boss Reborn as a Little Girl
It's pretty cute and funny seeing the gap between the boss status and the childlike interests, though this joke isn't funny enough to maintain a prolonged series. There's a tiny bit of tension with Yukari trying to hide their boss status from certain people, though this aspect isn't emphasized all that well. There are some sentimental moments as we see the loyal and compassionate sides to the boss and the subordinates, and these moments can be nice. overall it has an interesting concept but I got pretty bored and uninterested fast.
Don’t provoke the Contract wife
Don't even need to read that far in to understand that this manhua isn't worth your time. I can guess the plot just from the first few chapters: they get married out of convenience of some sort and the husband is an entitled asshole who gets to do whatever he wants, cheating, taking advantage of/ordering his wife around. and she does whatever ridiculous thing he wants without sticking up for herself because it's part of their agreement or whatever. But she secretly loves him even though she pretends not to and he secretly has feelings for her and gets irritated when she doesn't react like a lovesick puppy to his childish antics. There is virtually no build up or feelings of any depth to make their connection believable. Wouldn't recommend.
Beware of the Brothers!
There is quite frankly, no plot to speak of. MC gets sent back in time and has no goals or plans at all. No intention to stop her adopted parents' deaths or seek out why they died, no desire to get revenge on her brothers who abused her, no want to even change her life and situation based on her knowledge as an adult and of the future. The author doesn't seem to know what they want to do with the story at all. There is no overarching plot points and the fact that she doesn't do anything in particular is just insulting to the reader. all we've got is some basic character development and lots of her being pandered by her brothers, who she swears were awful in her last life but are now suddenly pretty chill with her? If a lack of plot and common sense irk you, avoid this manhwa. The characters are all over the place. The brothers' personalities are all over the place, and they will literally flip from extremely annoying and bullying the main character to being puppy-dogs who do whatever she says within seconds. They are pretty much just default archetypes, and have no other interesting faults, interests or characteristics. The MC herself is quite bland as well, and rarely does anything but commentate on whats going on and being nice. I only made it upto chapter 54 and it seems the manhwa is pushing the incest route. extremely creepy, and no amount of 'well they aren't blood siblings so its fine' can make up for it. Plus, the MC is still a teenager and years younger than the eldest brother, so its also quite disgusting. They grew up together and have acted like real siblings for almost a decade. Hell, a 'big' character development is the MC finally being accepted by her brothers as truly being family. To suddenly say they like each other romantically is a big middle finger to previous events. Additionally, with how smart and intelligent the author says they both are (because its never actually demonstrated), neither would realistically fall in love with each other due to how taboo and life ending it would be, especially in this setting. Overall, its readable, but you probably won't enjoy it that much. A good time-waster, but nothing more.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter
dropped. I got bored fast. I had high expectations since this is really popular but it was eh.
Secret Class
the story is bland and predictable. I think the only thing I liked about this manhwa is the art style tbh. the mc also fucking sucks, he's 20 and acting 12. not only that but he's turning more and more into a creep. don't forget the aunt taking advantage of him, she's a grown ass woman too.
Daughter of the Emperor
I honestly thought this had a lot of potential in the beginning and I still think I am right in that regard, maybe that's why I stuck with this for so long but enough is enough. the author of this manhwa does not know how to write a story. that's it. the pacing is very unorganized. the characters were interesting at first but eventually fell flat. and the plot is non-existent. the 3 basic requirements of how to write a story: plot, character and, development. If your story doesn't have any out of the 3 basics do you have any hope of succeeding at all? If you were really interested in this manhwa or the idea at least I recommend you read. "Who Made Me A Princess" it's everything and more that this manga could have. I usually don't like leaving comments this negative, but I'm just disappointed.
I am a child of this house
what the fuck. the knight is the love interest? why would you fall for someone you basically raised and watched grow up? that's nasty.
Profundis
I was actually getting into this at first. it has both my favorite genres; action & fantasy. then I read the novel. MC was blackmailed, humiliated, forced into sex, abused physically, gang raped, and mocked. all done by the male leads on the cover. not a single good fucking male lead. MC deserves so much better.
I Have Become the Heroes' Rival
I decided to drop this because it's not very interesting, I tried to have faith in the story and continued reading it, but I just couldn't get myself interested at all. The plot itself is really confusing and there's way too many boring & unnecessary scenes. I had high expectations because of how much people were praising it, so I'm quite disappointed. The FL and ML are the most cringeworthy couple in all romance manhwa, you can't change my mind. FL also has the ability to seduce any person of the same gender.. but she gets with a man. GIVE ME THAT ABILITY? YOU DON'T NEED IT
I Got Married To A Villain
