this has literally become one of my new favorite manhwas, oh my fucking GOD they’re so fucking precious it’s INSAAAANE. it’s been a long time since i read something this wholeheartedly sweet and wholesome, man… how much more obvious can it get that they’re soulmates??? ughhh, fuck me. i was low-key in happy-tears all the way through just from witnessing their interactions and the pure nature of their relationship. so, so precious. and they’re so goddamn adorable together it should be illegal!!! i’m kinda twitching from all this excitement, really. i think i needed this serotonin-boost today. it’s been a very long time since i binged a fully completed comic… especially in one single day. (a very long time, in fact.) that ought to say a lot, haha! in any case, kitty and briddy have both claimed my freakin’ heaaaart, my guy. one simply CANNOT erase the smile that’s plastered on my face right now. i adore so many of these other characters, too. in fact, the whole lot’s a lovable bunch. (except for the obvious villains, obviously. TRASH.) they all deserve the world, and i’m so happy they finally got it. babies. <33 P.S. these side stories are freakin’ KFJWKSJFKQNDBAKSJ i could cry from the cuteness omfgggg. i love the insight we’re getting on her other family members, too! and i’m hoping we’ll get be gifted a couple of chapters of amon’s fam as well! that’d be nothing short of amazing. ahhh, full circle!!! also, probably should’ve dived into this a bit sooner, but blondina’s truly one AMAZING character. i’ve got nothing but sheer admiration for this incredible woman, fuuuck. she’s everything i aspire to be, honestly. meanwhile, amon’s over here setting the bar once again. he’s everything anyone could ever WANT in a guy. or maybe ‘need’ would be a more suitable word for this beast of a man… (literally, lmfao.) still, the level of respect, loyalty and adoration these two share is nothing but heartwarming to witness from an outsider’s point of view. their family’s lovely, too—well, i mean… obviously, lololol. GOALS. oh, and before i forget: the art-style’s freakin’ EXQUISITE!!! it was gorgeous and expressive (always), the characters’ expressions were always spot on and befitting to each situation, and the overall storytelling was… pretty much perfect as well, if you ask me. i’ve had a genuinely good time reading this. i even kept going despite getting a headache from the natural lightning all around me, lol!! my eyes are hurting as i’m writing this, too. just wanted to get this out before i forget… i wouldn’t want to write an inadequate review for a story as nicely done as this, sheesh. i’ll definitely reread it one day, too! ahhh, i feel content now. probably could’ve said even more, but i think i ought to give my eyes a little break, haha. #blessed
I Became the Wife of the Male Lead
ahhhh, so good!!! i really love the narration. however, something that always bothers be about these isekai novels is the female’s lead annoying and obstinate obsession with ‘following the original story’ or whatever. it seriously pisses me off. i mean, the novel was literally rewritten the moment you gained consciousness in this new world you’re part of, lady!!! things will never work out the same way once you interact with the characters. EVERYONE. KNOWS. THIS. is this what they call ‘dumb MC syndrome’ or what? it literally makes zero sense. even with these intelligent women, too… it just baffles me, to be honest. IT’S NO LONGER A FREAKIN’ NOVEL WITH A DEFINITE PLOT!!! IT’S NOW _YOUR_ LIFE, GIRL!!!!! JUST. GO. LIVE. IT. sheesh… it’s always the fucking same. do your own thing!!! sighhh. i’ve really been wanting to rant about that for a while. it’s about damn time…

bro, how amazing was this?! to keep things relatively short: i’m low-key obsessed with this. this journey has been so wholesome and endearing and beautiful all ‘round and ughhh. i loved getting to know all these lovely characters! it started out pretty dark, but things turned around at some point… and i’m actually kinda struggling to remember anything specific right now. oof. just know that i read this all in one sitting! well, i thought i did. i originally assumed the story’d been completed, but then i found out that the manhwa was being updated after some time. WITH. BONUS. CHAPTERS!!! (i love those, lol.) so yeah, sheesh. this is why i’m writing this review kinda late; i just finished reading the very last one! so freakin’ wholesome. and, for what it’s worth, i thought the story eventually reached a good conclusion, too. honestly, i wouldn’t mind a couple more bonus episodes… although i do realize that it’s not really necessary at this point. i guess i just don’t want to part from these guys, fuuuck. so much character development in this one... sasha’s just the best!!! seriously, she’s probably the one who grew and changed the most. rebecca’s goddamn commendable and admirable, too. naska deserves the whole wide world, and arth got the recognition he earned for himself—as well as our main girl! even the side characters got me, bro!!! they’ve all grown so much and i love to see it—well, obviously, heh. i’m a huge sucker for a good cliche, as you can clearly tell. <33 i could go on, but sheesh… better not. whatever. i’m going to miss this one. i’ll definitely be rereading eventually, you can trust me on that!

ugh, so cute!!! can’t remember much in detail, but at least i can recall thinking that at the time, lol. i believe this was the first ‘straight couple’ manhwa i ever read on this website!!! it’d only ever read shounen ai and yaoi comics prior to that, haha. ahhh, good times. <3
Maxed Out Leveling
it’s such a power-trip!!! shinhyun’s next level OP, man. isn’t he basically a demi-god at this point? a transcendent human…? i don’t even know—all i really do know is that i’m still soooo fucking weak to this trope, lol. CLEARLY. not gonna lie, this is a lot better than i expected it to be. just the art itself is nearly freakin’ flawless! i’m absolutely LIVING for these ‘solo leveling’ and ‘descent of the demonic master’ vibes. i mean, although the stories are completely different in their own unique ways, they’re still quite similar in other aspects. (quite paradoxical, i know.) nonetheless, i do appreciate this ‘modern-game-like-reality’ and ‘old-murim-martial-arts’ combo… in which he has to master yet ANOTHER fighting style (besides murim martial arts) in order to become a true dungeon-raiding hunter after his return to modern society. i’ve never before seen a manhwa where the MC’s leveling up through two different systems, though... so that’s quite refreshing! knowing that this is another first for me makes me feel all kinds excited for reasons i don’t really know how to explain, haha. i mean, we literally get to see a near-transcendent martial arts god (?) master a completely different element in another era in order to grow as a hunter!!! who wouldn’t enjoy that? honestly, i have no real idea as to what i ought to expect from this plot-wise, though—given that his murim stats have literally been maxed out since chapter one. technically speaking, he’s still pretty much invincible. does that mean he’ll become double-invincible? lololol, can’t wait.

y’all, it’s freakin’ AMAZING. i’m really glad i chose to read this one tonight. binged the whole thing in one go!!! well, all the AVAILABLE chapters, that is. just awaiting new updates now. edit: it’s complete and i feel content. <33 i’d guess i was roughly halfway through the story back when i wrote that ‘initial review’, if you will… so, i suppose it’s fair to say that things have happened since then. time passed, things changed, characters grew… it’s been an intriguing read, that’s for sure. and not only intriguing, but beautiful and wholesome as well. therefore, i absolutely stand by what i said back then! it really IS amazing. this might actually be the best manhua i’ve ever read, to be completely honest. it felt… full. and vibrant. which is honestly not something i’m used to seeing in chinese comics, not gonna lie. in any case, it’s been such a pleasure, and i’m excited to see more of this author‘s work in the future! 10/10 would recommend, i absolutely loved it. i’ll probably end up rereading it at some point, too. i have no qualms about it. thank youuuu!!!
