i’ve been obsessed with these plot lines lately, lol. hopefully, this one in particular won’t disappoint! edit: my god. i’m not even past the prologue yet and i’ve already been swept off my feet, sheesh. i’ve got chills, bro!!! this is bound to be incredible and i’m so ready for it. fuck meeee if i’m not weak for overpowered MCs. edit #2: welp…not too sure how i feel about it now, to be honest. i’m not particularly fond of such fast pacing for stories within this genre… (not unless it’s realistic and relevant progress which makes sense for said story.) plus, he’s way too overconfident. confidence is nice, but arrogance is another ordeal. i do love me some strong and powerful characters, but it feels as though he’s relying on his past lives a bit too much for my liking. said notion would’ve be fine if he wasn't acting so damn arrogantly with such little experience. an outsider’s reliance would’ve actually been preferred at this point in time given his history, skills and innate characteristics. he has little-to-no combat or teamwork experience and it shows. i get that he’s ‘proud’ or whatever and wants to grow stronger quickly, but man… just chill out a bit, lol. focus on mastering the skills your teachers are trying to teach you instead of letting your greed and impatience get you into trouble!! anyway… oh well, lol. i’ll be sticking around nonetheless! i’m only on chapter 16 thus far, after all. still lots of room for improvement! i really want to like this story, and i mostly do, but it is what it is. i’ll be anticipating some nice character development, if nothing else! i'm still giving this a five star rating, so that enough should be able to speak for itself, haha. edit #3: ohhhh, nevermind. i understand now, heh. anyway, you keep growing on me more and more, little ranker boy!!! we shall have to wait and see what happens in the future… but i’m enthusiastic about it. ;)

this is pretty fucking great, y’all. and it’s nothing like what i expected it to be at all! which, in all fairness, is a good thing. i have no idea why this manhwa doesn’t have higher reviews. personally, i think it’s incredibly well-written! and so, so interesting, too. love these characters. i’m a huge sucker for human complexity, sheesh.

i’m only 5 chapters in and i’m already AMAZED. can’t wait to see how and when this story takes off! edit: 10 chapters in and i’m fucking DECEASED already. this shit’s too funny. edit 2# i’m currently 47 chapters in and THIS SHIT IS TOO MUCH, HWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

this is great so far! our MC is… something else, though. (lol.) nonetheless, i’m thoroughly amused! edit: yep, she’s definitely SOMETHING. even though i do admire her transparency in regards to her personality—aka narcissism, arrogance and things of the like, she’s not exactly the most likable MC out there. geenie’s kind of an asshole, honestly. i wouldn’t go as far as to say i dislike her character; she’s definitely interesting, and she does have her moments, but i genuinely hope there’ll be some major character development down the line. and i reaaally don’t appreciate her taking advantage of everyone and everything around her… ughhh. still, i truly do enjoy the story!!! i’m pretty excited for updates, too—not gonna lie. we shall have to wait and see!

whoaaa, this shit is reaaally fucking dark and twisted, my dude. it’s really growing on me! just awaiting updates now. i never know what to expect from this one, haha. how exciting. ;) edit: soooo… apparently it’s already over? like, super abruptly??? i’ll be honest, this was a major letdown. i expected more from this. it started out pretty good, but then suddenly random things started happening and the arcs in general just… whizzled out. kinda weird. even the ending didn’t feel like an ending. they could’ve EASILY made at least over 80 chapters, explaining things properly and creating some sense of buildup… but alas, there was none of that. just characters and events thrown in there that didn’t really do the objective ‘premise’ of this manhwa justice. i really thought we were just starting out, lol. seriously, what WAS that ending?! i could barely understand what was going on during those last 12-15 chapters or whatever. still, i kept reading because i expected there’d be a reasonable outcome, or at least a somewhat decent ‘explanation’ as to why and how everything happened the way they did… but, like i’ve already said, there was none. well, this is frustrating… lol. the reason i’m so annoyed is mostly because i felt there was a sense of uniqueness and originality to these characters—our psychopathic MC in particular, but not even his character development made any sense. so freakin’ annoying, god!!!
