one chapter in and i’m already blown away by the quality of the art. man, i’m stoked!!! this is going to be great. … aaaand, as expected, it hasn’t disappointed me yet. i’m reading this one on tapas for the best possible reading experience, and boyyyy, is it worth it. super stoked for the future of this one! i might just grow impatient from waiting for more chapters to be published—especially knowing that there are already eight additional chapters released and available for reading right here, right now. hmmm… so, who knows? guess we’ll have to wait and see if my patience holds out! i doubt it, but oh well, lol. the quality, though…

ABSOLUTELY. LOVING. IT. 10/10 would recommend. i’m looking forward to see what’s in store for this one. the future appears to be lookin’ pretty freakin’ bright right about now!!!

dude, this one fucking SLAYS!!! and surprisingly (but not-so surprisingly), i’m completely obsessed with it. one of these days, i hope i’ll be able to afford purchasing the official chapters on tapas. i already spent some ink on a couple of ‘em, and it was absolutely worth it. the quality isn’t doing the story justice over here, man… in any case, i didn’t expect anything like this! i think it’s creative and wholesome and sweet and dark and just overall enthralling, really. can’t wait to read more. <33 edit: i don’t feel like that previous review of mine did the story justice, either. ‘monstrous heart’ a gorgeous work of art, truly. the atmosphere is so haunting while the art style is so goddamn ethereal, it’s INSANE. truly adore the paradox of it all. i’m so in love with every single aspect of this! truly. i wish i could find the right words to express just how beautiful and enthralling this is. i seem to be unable to at the moment. these guys deserve the world. edit #2: i didn’t expect to feel this… emotionally involved with these characters and their lives, man. i’m actually fucking sobbing for willow and simon after reading their short side story, lol. ughhh, lord help meeee. i’m so thankful i found this manhua! truly a work of art deserving of more recognition and appreciation than it’s getting right now. a new favorite, thats’s for sure!!! it’s pretty much undeniable at this point, lol. definitely worth the money spent. <33 edit: it’s completely done now and i don’t know what else to say. what can i even say…? other than the fact that i’ll ABSOLUTELY be rereading it one day? that’s it’s exquisite, melancholy, beautiful writing with outstanding art to match? meh, i don’t know… fuuuck, i’m so tired right now. i adore them all. this is actually way better than i expected! before i begun reading, i thought this was going to be one of those ‘traditional’ MANHWAS within this genre—not a manhua. and based on past experiences with manhua (in general), i was unsure about the overall quality of what i was going to get with this comic. however!!! as i mentioned, i was positively surprised. i suppose it started out a bit… ambiguous, kinda?? but i’m truly enjoying myself now! i’m excited to read more.

yo… this is really fucking wholesome. i was somewhat skeptical at first—mainly because i saw a comment about aiden being sly and manipulative that i ended up diving into this manhwa with bias. alas, it was nothing like what i’d expected! my god, he’s so fucking precious i could die. i actually really like and support their relationship; despite the early onset of miscommunication and misunderstandings. things are really headed in the right direction, though, i think… seriously, they’re such a good match for each other!!! i’m loving these dynamics. excited for future updates! (this is available for free on webtoon, by the way! read it there and support the author.) edit: aww, i’m so happy with that final author’s note.

bruh, i have full-body convulsions every single time he says “i love you.” i’m not even kidding. seriously, i can’t handle the cringe, it’s OUTSTANDING. truly, this is hysterically funny in ways i never could’ve predicted. i’ve been laughing my ass off like crazy, haha. even stayed up half the night binging this thing, lol! no regrets, factssss. it’s truly an amazing story, and i’m actually kind of glad i put it off for so long since i now have the option of binging 80+ chapters instantaneously without forced breaks like i want to. <33 also, i love these characters!!! i’m surprised by how unique and ingenious the actual plot itself is, too. all my initial predictions were way off! i mean, i’m quite familiar with this genre by now—especially these game-like reality tropes—and i must say i’m positively surprised (more like overjoyed) about the fact that i literally have no idea what to expect from anyone or anything. honestly, it’s great writing! the art is quite spectacular, too—very engaging and expressive! stellar world-building, enticing personalities all over the place, emotional complexity, amazing comic relief, as well as overall great potential for character development and plot progression. <33 man, i’m so excited for future chapters!!! edit: completely forgot i wrote this during one of many mental health breaks caused by all this “i love you” business… had another cringe-fest the minute i returned to the story... now i’m hiding out over here again, waiting for the goosebumps to finally recede. heeeelp meeeeee. edit #2: hyunje’s actually my favorite out of everyone in this hunter bunch, lololol. he’s so funny

daaamn, dude!!! this guy is starting to feel like a whole damn sociopath to me, lmao. i definitely didn’t expect something like that heading into the story, but we’ll see how it goes! i’m not sure how i feel about it yet. but i ALSO know that one shouldn’t make assumptions this early in. i french end up proving myself wrong.
