well… it’s alright. i had high expectations, and i was kinda let down, honestly. i wish there’d been more of an ‘emotional pull’, so to speak. it almost feels… flat, if that makes sense? just dull. hmmm. i’m hoping to see some changes now that the translations have FINALLY improved. (i hope those’ll last, too.)

omg. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. two chapters in and i’m already OBSESSED, my god!!! i expected this, knowing it’s the same author who created ‘return of the mad demon’, but still, man… i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: i RELISH in exquisite power-trips, i kid you the fuck not. i’m so stoked already! edit: legit one of the most simp-worthy characters i’ve come across in a loooong ass time. i Physically cannot contain myself, that’s how fucking pumped up i am. the art, the fights, the carnage, the power; sheer SUPREMACY of this man… y’all wouldn’t understand what’s happening inside my body right now even if i told you, lmfao. truly, it’s been AGES since i took this many screenshots from just one comic… and i haven’t even reached chapter 16 yet. wjfiakxjakdhwksk. difiwovuapjclandalz. oajfisbskajxjwhs. good lord, SEND. ME. SOME. FIRST. FUCKING. AID. i legit won’t make it at this point, my heart’s going rampant. and yes, i’m still feeling and reeling from the aftershocks of these past few chapters. words can’t express how hyped up i am right now. epic epic EPIC. what a violent masterpiece, goddammit. beautiful, overwhelming brutality at its finest. <33 edit #2: i’ve caught up by now, and i’m actually even MORE immersed than i was an hour ago… believe it or not, lol. this is such a golden find, genuinely. underrated as fuck as well, i’m assuming. good grief, i’m so excited to continue this!!! these constant buildups are just freakin’ EXCEPTIONAL. never a dull moment, and i’m loving for it! slay them aaaall papi. legit, he’s so fucking attractive and enthralling i could SCREAM. those mannerisms of his will be the death of meeee. (and his adonis-like looks, too, obviously.)

well, i’ll be damned. it’s different from my expectations… but i’m not too sure whether that’s a good or bad thing just yet. honestly, at first, i didn’t really like the art. some of it felt… ‘disproportional’, if you will. the thirteen year old eugene looked like an eight year old bodybuilder with waaaay too large hands. (that goes for his family members, too.) but now that they’re all significantly older—albeit still in their late teens—i can’t say i’m particularly bothered by their ‘bodily proportions’ at all anymore, haha. but i’m enjoying the story’s overall progression thus far, though! i kinda struggled with his rough, sort of arrogant personality at first, but the more i get to know and understand him, the more i appreciate and respect his character. it’s intriguing! and, either way, i’m excited to continue on this journey.

ahhhh, how i adore this genre. <33 i’m living for these dopamine hits!!! P.S. i just don’t understand why these comics are placed under the shoujo genre. it makes absolutely no sense. and it ALSO keeps avid readers, such as myself, looking for historical martial arts comics in the completely wrong place!!! ughhh. i thought i’d already browsed through every one there is on this website, but noooo. PROBABLY BECAUSE THERE ARE STILL UNKNOWN ONES (to me) PLACED UNDER THE WRONG GENRES!!! how frustrating. do i have to browse the shoujo genre now, too?? that’d literally take me DAYS, bro. fuck’s saaaake.

ahhh, new face!!! love the originality and overall creativity of the manhwa. i’m having a blast reading this story! jaeju is one awesome main character, too. super entertaining and just naturally cool!!! unfortunately, it’s missing a couple of tags on here as well… but it is what it is. ;p also, popoi babies. <33

OUTSTANDING. i’m silently rejoicing. <33 i really do love these kinds of stories. it’s giving off maaad “tomb raider king”, “sss-class revival hunter”, “a returner’s magic should be special” and “leveling up with the gods” vibes!!! heh. whatever the case, i’m living absolutely for it! i’m fully caught up and i’m freakin’ STOKED. man, this dude’s awesome. i love his personality. reaaaally makes me look forward to the future of this manhwa. at this point, i definitely have high expectations!
