haha, this is definitely NOT what i expected! daddy can kill me and step on my corpse any day and i’d thank him. my fucking GOOOOOD, he’s so hot. older brother #1 slays, too. and so does our MC, by the way!!! older brother #2 is so fucking cute i could cry, omfg. this thing’s so depressingly wholesome, i swear… i know said statement makes little-to-no sense, but that’s what i’m getting from it. paradoxical, but entertaining! i support this soon-to-be-relationship, too!! i hope she’ll remain with the family, though. (in name, i mean. i think she just might. fingers crossed!) i’m loving the dynamics and the ever-so-present moral dilemmas as well! but hey, these guys better survive… all of ‘em!!! or i’ll be genuinely upset. i mean, no one’s perfect… but they’re still a family. or at least they’re finally on the road of becoming one! (albeit a strange one, but that isn’t really relevant.)

hmmm… this’ll be interesting. ^^ edit: well, i kinda like the plot. i’ve been browsing for stories similar to solo leveling (although other comics are fundamentally incomparable to such a masterpiece, i know), and i happened to stumble upon this. MC is supposed to be a 38 year old who went back 15 years in time before the world went to shit, but homeboy acts like a reckless teenager going through puberty—which is a shame, really. i wish he wouldn’t use and abuse so many people and instead build connections and find loyal companions. and i don’t like how he treats his relics… if he only tried to earn their trust and loyalty instead of treating them all like pieces of shit, his life would become ten times easier. and so would his raids, if you think about it... anyway, it’s soooo fucking frustrating to watch. he’s just a dick, honestly. ugh, just grow up!!! i hope there’ll be some decent character development at some point. as of right now, MC is pretty damn unlikable. ughhh… …but i ALSO realize from past experiences that it’s still too early to make judgments and determine whether it’s worth reading or not. i’m not even past chapter 26 yet. anyway. let’s see how this one holds up. edit #2: things are definitely improving!!! (i just finished chapter 56.) i’m optimistic for the future as of right now! edit #3: THIS DUDE IS LITERAL TRASH LMFAOOOOO. so fucking savage. at least he’s funny, lolololol. can’t seem to decide whether i should be hating him or admiring him. this is such a clown fest, but i’m loving it!!!

this one’s seeeriously fucked up. and i’m loving it!!! i’ll worship this woman ‘til the day i die, i swear. my god, this wicked sense of admiration and justification i feel for this person is next level powerful, man!!! she’s a literal GODDESS of manipulation. like a siren, only way worse. (if villainism was a person, heh…) i guess i should be overall frightened, if nothing else, but i’m really not. this is so refreshing!!! terrifying, but refreshing all the same. i’d probably lick the soles of her feet if she asked me to, not gonna lie. “she’s a nightmare dressed like a daydream,” as someone once said. extremely intelligent, unbelievably cunning and so, soooo fucking attractive. i love her. <33 she’s a horrible, horrible person… i’d 100% run for the hills if i met this fictional queen in real life, though. god, what a fearsome thought. however!!! bad bitches like verta 2.0 don’t come around all too often. ESPECIALLY as female leads… such intriguing dynamics!!! beautiful complexity, to say the least. edit: my god, she’s an actual fucking MENACE. at this point in time, i practically get chills ALL OVER my body whenever i read a fresh update. this is truly terrifying. her conniving genius is unparalleled. sighhh. i don’t know whether to laugh or cry anymore, i just can’t cope. a true villainess.

my god, this is so freakin’ creative!!! excellent writing and gorgeous art, too. i’ve only just started out, and i can already tell i’m about to become wholly obsessed, lol. it’s a lot darker than i expected, though! not that i’m complaining; it’s a nice change of pace. i’m loving everything about it so far. wonderful character complexity as well!!! seriously, i think i might’ve stumbled onto another artistic masterpiece. it’s so goddamn underrated, too, ugh. but honestly, though… i don’t even mind the relatively short chapters. noblesse started out the same way, and suddenly BOOM!!! we were blessed with longer chapters. nice and perfect chapters. <33 i’d expect something similar to happen here. i’m already anticipating it, haha. it’s seriously marvelous! in any case, it’s so goddamn ingenious and beautiful and binge-worthy i could scream. “NOICE”, i’ll mutter instead. (inside voices and all.) i’m such a simp already, oof. how lovely! no regrets, though. #blessed

this guy… is pretty fucking SAVAGE, my god. that’s some big dick energy right there, ughhh. his intelligence and conniving personality is so fucking attractive, i kid you not. what makes the whole ordeal even more enthralling is being able to actually firsthand WITNESS (!!!) just how upstanding and righteous he truly is. so much integrity!!! and in the best way, too. i quite admire his drive. honestly, this is the kind of excitement i need and want more of. i’m just in looove with the way ryu youngjoon handles people!!! both friends and foes. he always seems to be at least three steps ahead of everyone, at all times; always ready to pounce. it’s weirdly satisfying, lol. the fact that he’s literally out there ridding the world of diseases while simultaneously SAVING it through medicine and microbiology—just because HE CAN…? makes everything all the more intriguing. and him all the more attractive, too i love love LOVE him. as a bonus, i’m learning so many new things today, too! it might be fictional, but it’s still educational and eye-opening. it’s great, heh.

oh, wow… ‘power elite’ might actually be an understatement for this guy, sheeeesh. in any case, i’m absolutely loving it! this particular MC of ours, ma hyeon, is surprisingly likable as a person. genuine & authentic, humble & intelligent, honest & good-hearted… just overall incredibly admirable, really! i really do appreciate his character. i want him to be and feel at peace—whatever that might indicate for him and those closest to him. he’s an amazing guy, that’s for sure, and so the rest of that family of his! (his students and close friends are included there, obviously.) i love seeing the unconditional loyalty, all these emotional connections, as well as the faith he has in his students. what a hidden gem, goddammit. honestly though, my ONLY complaint… is the fact that the art-style started to change around chapter 35-40 or something if the like. (i can’t even remember when anymore, oof.) personally, i most definitely prefer the original style! i feel it was a lot more expressive in comparison to these new ones... (and yes, the art has unfortunately been ‘altered’ multiple times by now.) honestly, i still have hope that things'll slowly start to morph back into their original states at some point, but i won’t hold my breath, haha! for now, i’ll continue to advance on this fictional journey nonetheless. he’s truly so fucking OP, though, seriously!!! it’s borderline insane, gaaaawd. this manhwa’s great, and i’m really looking forward to see what else might be in store for the future! edit: i take it back. this new artistry rules!!! i’m loving it. surprisingly, it fits the story very well! to be honest, i still miss the original artist(s) and their art, not gonna lie… but this isn’t bad, either. it’s really not. i’m actually starting to grow semi-excited again! heh.

dude, this one fucking SLAYS!!! and surprisingly (but not-so surprisingly), i’m completely obsessed with it. one of these days, i hope i’ll be able to afford purchasing the official chapters on tapas. i already spent some ink on a couple of ‘em, and it was absolutely worth it. the quality isn’t doing the story justice over here, man… in any case, i didn’t expect anything like this! i think it’s creative and wholesome and sweet and dark and just overall enthralling, really. can’t wait to read more. <33 edit: i don’t feel like that previous review of mine did the story justice, either. ‘monstrous heart’ a gorgeous work of art, truly. the atmosphere is so haunting while the art style is so goddamn ethereal, it’s INSANE. truly adore the paradox of it all. i’m so in love with every single aspect of this! truly. i wish i could find the right words to express just how beautiful and enthralling this is. i seem to be unable to at the moment. these guys deserve the world. edit #2: i didn’t expect to feel this… emotionally involved with these characters and their lives, man. i’m actually fucking sobbing for willow and simon after reading their short side story, lol. ughhh, lord help meeee. i’m so thankful i found this manhua! truly a work of art deserving of more recognition and appreciation than it’s getting right now. a new favorite, thats’s for sure!!! it’s pretty much undeniable at this point, lol. definitely worth the money spent. <33 edit: it’s completely done now and i don’t know what else to say. what can i even say…? other than the fact that i’ll ABSOLUTELY be rereading it one day? that’s it’s exquisite, melancholy, beautiful writing with outstanding art to match? meh, i don’t know… fuuuck, i’m so tired right now. i adore them all. ooooh, another glorious historical martial arts manhwa to add to my list of endless martial arts manhwas. <33 i’m so here for the action!!! i absolutely love the art, too. initially, i wouldn't really have said that i was all that enthralled by the story in general, nor its characters… but that opinion kinda did a complete 180 for me soon enough, i’m not gonna lie. i actually think it’s pretty damn great! and honestly speaking, it just keeps getting better and better at this point. museong (or ‘jihyuk’, if you will) is such a badass bitch, omfg. love his character, ughhh. wow, what a guy. i’m just so exciteeeed for the futuuure of historical martial arts manhwaaaa in generaaaal!!! #hyped
