ooooh. this dude looks kinda like jinmu from ‘the grand wudang saga, and the cover itself reminds me of ‘ranker’s return’ with the tangy-lookalike on his shoulder in the background, lololol. whichever direction this manhwa decides to take, i’m sure it’s going to be great either way! can’t wait to binge this one!!! well, once there are more chapters available, that is. either way, i have high expectations! I’M SO EXCITED, YEEEEEET. edit: now that i’ve actually read it, i must say it’s way different from my expectations, lol. it’s actually pretty similar to ‘ranker’s return’ and ‘the poisonous healer’ in many ways—completely different storyline and characters, but i don’t know… the vibe’s just there, ya know? then there’s the whole bear-sidekick along with a drug-tamer (or poison, if you will) like the characters from the comics i just mentioned, haha. either way, it’s great! super creative, too. i like that korean mythology’s been incorporated into the story and that the historical vibes are there, even though the whole thing’s being played out in a contemporary setting. haven’t really seen that before, either… maybe like ‘sss-class revival hunter’, if nothing else? i’ve read so many stories at this point that it’s difficult to NOT compare them, really. illustrative greatness all around. <33

i’m quite enjoying this! loving the fighting scenes. some of these characters are so goddamn annoying and childish at times, though, but it is what it is. possibly more room for some proper character development, no? i really do appreciate naru as a MC as well. although, his ‘personal’ ambitions…? not so much. but, once again, it is what it is. i’m hoping he’ll have a change of heart at some point. or that he’ll at least find a purpose within HIMSELF other than his ‘princess’ or whatever. well, i suppose i could always change my mind… since, clearly, the story’s FAR from being over. hee-hee. edit: NEVER MIND ALL THAT. I LOVE THIS MANHWA. IT’S SO VIOLENT!!! i especially like the emperor’s character, omfg. what a perfect villain he is. i’m low-key obsessed with that… sadistic, fascinatingly delusional psycho of a man, oof. loving the sheer brutality of this. and the story’s super unpredictable in general, too!!! never know what to expect from these people. excellent character development, too. the complex and conniving nature of some of these powerful men are just… too-notch quality, my guy. man, it’s great. <33 and if that’s not all, OUR HOMEBOY’S AN ACTUAL. FUCKING. KILLING. MACHINE!!! just… whoa. that’s kinda epic, not gonna lie. big daddy energy fooo shooo that’s some true carnage right there, lol. #whatabloodfest

goddamn, that’s a power-trip if i ever saw one. holy shieeet, man... what a fucking boss!!! i love this MC, honestly. and i appreciate the fact that he’s, well… ‘morally deviant’, if you will. he’s not trying to save the world or anything, but he’s more realistic in the sense of him wanting to grow stronger for himself, and himself ONLY. surprisingly, i like that. (but maybe that’s just ‘cause i find him surprisingly relatable, lol.) can't wait for the world to find out about him, though! i live for these massive power elites. it’s one of my favorite things. oh kangwoo is a perfect example of a semi-likable (?) character with extremely overpowered abilities. oh, and for good measure, i’ll quickly add to the fact that it’s quite nice to see his powers being restricted, and that he has to actually WORK for his power-seal to be weakened! and eventually fully broken, i suppose. it’s nice. either way, i’m loving every minute of it. <33 i’m really looking forward to see what’s in store for this manhwa!!!

this is… unexpectedly wholesome, actually. i adore these characters!!! and the overall dynamic of this manhwa is pretty damn entertaining, lol. quite interesting interactions they have.

well, i’ll be damned. it’s different from my expectations… but i’m not too sure whether that’s a good or bad thing just yet. honestly, at first, i didn’t really like the art. some of it felt… ‘disproportional’, if you will. the thirteen year old eugene looked like an eight year old bodybuilder with waaaay too large hands. (that goes for his family members, too.) but now that they’re all significantly older—albeit still in their late teens—i can’t say i’m particularly bothered by their ‘bodily proportions’ at all anymore, haha. but i’m enjoying the story’s overall progression thus far, though! i kinda struggled with his rough, sort of arrogant personality at first, but the more i get to know and understand him, the more i appreciate and respect his character. it’s intriguing! and, either way, i’m excited to continue on this journey.

bro, this is soooo much better than i thought it’d be!!! truly, it’s freakin’ AMAZING. and this simply makes it all the more apparent just how fucking unnecessarily biased i am when it comes to manhwa i haven’t already read in general, sheesh... i never learn, it’d seem!!! (i blame my executive dysfunctional brain.) but man, i definitely would’ve regretted skipping out on this one. i love this MC, lmfao. honestly, i don’t really even know why (edit: as i’m now fully caught up, i most definitely understand why), but i find him admirable… and strangely endearing, i dare say. i’m loving the constant buildup! well, i don’t really know what it’s for, but it’s keeping me both interested and content. the art is simply spectacular as well! great characters—at least i think so—as well as engaging and entertaining events and dynamics between said characters. i like the fact that he’s not just suddenly ridiculously OP, but he’s instead given the tools and a proper foundation to grow and become stronger on his own. well, i mean… is he OP? most definitely, but i find it to be a smooth and realistic growth given the circumstances. i appreciate his rational mindset, too. he’s not needlessly overconfident, nor annoyingly cowardly or brave. there’s a solid balance between all three! i absolutely love to see it. i’m really quite excited for future updates, too! i’m genuinely committed at this point, lol. #blessed

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. two chapters in and i’m already OBSESSED, my god!!! i expected this, knowing it’s the same author who created ‘return of the mad demon’, but still, man… i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: i RELISH in exquisite power-trips, i kid you the fuck not. i’m so stoked already! edit: legit one of the most simp-worthy characters i’ve come across in a loooong ass time. i Physically cannot contain myself, that’s how fucking pumped up i am. the art, the fights, the carnage, the power; sheer SUPREMACY of this man… y’all wouldn’t understand what’s happening inside my body right now even if i told you, lmfao. truly, it’s been AGES since i took this many screenshots from just one comic… and i haven’t even reached chapter 16 yet. wjfiakxjakdhwksk. difiwovuapjclandalz. oajfisbskajxjwhs. good lord, SEND. ME. SOME. FIRST. FUCKING. ohhh, this is good!!! very different from all the other ‘similar’ stories i’ve read as of yet. love the concept of being mixed species without his parents knowing about it, as well as him getting to train with each parent respectively—therefore earning twice the experience points. can’t wait to see everyone’s reactions once they’ve ultimately figured it all out, haha! it’ll be exciting, for sure. i quite appreciate the author’s sense of humor, too. the manhwa keeps getting better and better by the chapter! makes me feel all kinds of excited for the future. <33 edit: LMFAOOOO I FORGOT HOW FUCKING FUNNY THIS IS HELP
