Chapters 1,2&4.5 are absolute gold. A BDSM story unlike any I have encountered so far and I loved it. The juxtaposition between sexual power and social superiority was interesting. I also loved the dynamic of their relationship. Neither person was a victim, each knew exactly what they wanted and were willing to get themselves dirty to obtain it. A mature story with a fulfilling end. I just went back and read 3&4 the second story is also wonderful, I did not enjoy it quite as much as the first but it was really touching.

This is genuinely the most interesting and weird cross genera BL's I'm reading right now. I went into it with no expectations but its actually really good. I'm so conflicted about what I want to happen!

This so beautifully captures a performer's ambition and the desire to continuously improve. It was wonderful. On the one hand, I wish we had more information on both of their backgrounds, and why Kou's father did what he did. But on the other hand, it wasn't necessary for the growth of these characters at this point in their story, and the mystery allows the reader to fill in the blanks.

WOOOOOW! the title got this one right! There is no other way to describe this story than intense. Every moment of this feels like water on the verge of boiling. Their chemistry is so visceral, I do wish the sex scenes were a bit longer to capitalize on that and grater establish their emotional intimacy. I wish that this was a bit longer, and showed some of the other plot threads being tied up. Like maybe a 5 or 6 chapter epilogue would have been really nice. But this was still a 10/10 for me and is easily in my top 30 of all time!

Not gonna lie this was an interesting one. ***Spoiler thoughts*** There are three friends who are all dreaming of having sex with the other in a love triangle. Which is fine, but I really felt that the two childhood friends should have ended up together instead of the two more recent friends who kinda fuck around together to test it out. The other thing that pissed me off was the last childhood friend who is left out of the love triangle. So the reason he doesn't pursue a relationship with the main character is that he decides "I will not become gay" Like bro WTF? I'll tell you what, I'm gay and in my experience no matter what you do to fight it you just can't. You are born that way. If they had gone the route of "oh he's bisexual but he is just choosing not to pursue relationships with men out of fear" then that would have been fine. But you can't just think about it and be all like, "nope I'm not gonna be a homo anymore... whelp! Problem solved! I have absolutely zero attraction to the same sex and I never will again for the rest of my life!" Ugh so fucking irritating to me.

Not often in BL do you get to enjoy a narrative like this one. The perspectives and personalities of the two characters are so unique. The way that emotions like isolation are shown visually (stars on a winter night scene) is really striking. To be honest the art style is not as refined as some other stories I've read but it is worth it just to enjoy this character study.

This was a super interesting mystery story, it was really entertaining. ***Spoilers*** Why the 4 stars if it's so good? The whole point of going back to his hometown and find Aki is so he can face his trauma and have sex. So he can move on and be physically intimate with his new love interest. And in the end, we never get to see them smash?!?!?!!?!?!? Like WTF? the buildup was like 6 chapters and then nothing??? But it's not like there are no smut scenes in it because the first like 5 panels are depicting a kid getting raped?!?!? ugh!!!
