Taming the Tiger
This story is so beautiful and everything I could ever wish for. The building of the characters' relationship is done in such stunning way. The writing is absolutely majestic, especially with all the season/flower symbolism. The ending and the side story broke me into a million pieces, but that doesn't make this any less perfect. Their love is so tender and warm--a love everyone should strive to have. Beautiful.
The Hounds of Sisyphus
Dead people on the move, creating chaos and instability. A story with beautiful art and an interesting plot. Guwon is the cutest and most unpredictable character ever. I'm enjoying this very much so far, and I can't wait to see where this story is going. Waiting for updates.
Swapping
I dropped this story half-way through. The plot seemed interesting and well-planned from the beginning. but I couldn't find the spark to continue. The story also seemed very information-heavy and I just got tired of all the excess info. I know it's important, but it was annoying. The MC was also not my cup of tea. When he finally got close to a big breakthrough, something would mess it up, and he essentially had to start over.
Crimson Ocean
This is certainly something else. It is basically a story that showcases what Stockholm syndrome and brainwashing looks. I will say that those parts make things interesting, and while there's a little plot development, the story mainly consists of filthy, smutty scenes.
Into The Blue Water
The best word to describe this story would be sad or unexpected. It is centred around amnesia, tragedies and abandonment. I was sceptical at first, but the plot is ultimately heartbreaking, especially after the truth comes out about the accident, and what the implications actually mean. There's more depth to the plot and characters than I thought. Would recommend.
Decision
A story about an assassin who fails to kill one of his targets, and sleeps with him instead. This is such an interesting plotline, and I desperately want more chapters. It could have been so interesting see how the assassin would get closer to his target with the intention to kill him, but then ends up falling in love instead. It has the enemy to lovers trope that I like, and the dynamic between the uke and seme is really good.
Blue Quicksand
A former gang member struggling to make money, and a stranger offering him a way. This has potential, but it is so poorly written and executed that it ruined the experience for me. The art is the main thing that made me finish it.
In Good Faith
A story with no depth, plot or purpose. This is a waste of my time, something so awful that I wouldn't want my worst enemy to read it. This seems like an excuse to write a rape-fantasy because that's all this story has-downright rape and non-con elements. I found out that this is made by the same author who made 'Limited Run', and everything makes sense now. Would not recommend.
Lucky Letter
A story centred around the aspect of grief and losing the love of your life. This short story manages to convey the conflicted feelings of the characters, while also handling the subject of death, immortality and a second chance in a beautiful way. The shows the pain and process of acceptance and letting go. It shows how the MC slowly realises that grief and life does get better and that having a support system is a must.
