Brother In Law
A twisted story centred around toxic relationships disguised as love and affection. With just five chapters, I'm surprised how many things are in this story. Toxic relationships are one thing, but the breaking of trust, lack of understanding and concern for your partner are different matters entirely. There's also homophobia thrown in here, which is never nice. All in all, everything is overly messy and poorly written.
Dead man Switch
A story focused on a timeless nightmare. This is one of those stories you have to read without any prior knowledge of the plot. As a reader, you get thrown into a nightmare and have put the mysterious piece together in order for things to make sense. This story is great at dealing with suspense, desperation and human nature as things progressively worsen. It tugs at your heartstrings as the plot develops--said plot does have some plot holes, but I still loved this very much.
Don't Mess With the Puppy!
A story about abandonment, love and found family. This story doesn't place the seme and uke into certain stereotypes, creating a refreshing and entertaining dynamic. With 40+ chapters, the author manages to write great and imperfect characters. The plot is captivating all the way to the end, though there are some unanswered questions. Even so, this is absolutely lovely.
Missing Love
This is such a beautiful and heartbreaking story. This is some of the most traumatising and agonising stuff I have ever read. This story deals with so many uncomfortable topics--abuse, prostitution, power imbalance, codependency, obsession and revenge. It's beautifully written and handles everything respectfully and realistically. This is one of those stories you only read once, but never forget.
