I Picked Up the Second Male Lead After the Ending
Ore to Joushi no Koi no Hanashi
1/3 in trilogy. New trainee is at first surprised how open his boss chikase is about how he is gay and how he is in love with his boss. But as they get closer, they start to develop feelings especially on the trainee's side. Chikase then confesses to his boss, who let's him down gently and his trainee slowly moves in as time moves on. And then their feelings grow mutual. It's great how the company is all so supportive of Chikase and the trainee Tomoaki.
Ore to Kareshi no Koi no Hate
Final installment 3/3. Chikase finally confirms to his parents that he is gay. Tomoaki is transferred out to the head branch so they have a long distance relationship for a few months. This causes issues since Chikase's insecurities arise again. Mainly about if Tomoaki would be better off with a woman and with a family. Tomoaki gets them pair rings but it's not enough. They break off for a while but Tomoaki eventually returns and comes back into Chikase's life. He even greets his parents and it ends with talks of fretting Tomoaki's.
Bokura ga Koi wo Ushinau Riyuu
Uke finds comfort in a frequent bar customer, first as a friend to confined in, about his unrequited love for his childhood friend who is straight, who is moving nearby (within walking distance) in Tokyo. Things slowly develop as the uke and the new friend/seme slowly learn more about each other, especially the uke who was unsure of even his sexuality. Things come to a head as he and his childhood friend go back to their hometown for a visit and all the uke thinks about is the seme
Koisuru Ryuu no Shima
Loved both stories, but the 2nd was more angst ridden and emotional. It was great to see that the White dragon's love was finally returned after 1'400 years and hes finally no longer alone. The 1st story was too short but good too. The white dragon said they were brothers and it would have been nice if they could have met each other again.
Muri Kon
Small hick village has a weird custom of arranged marriage between certain families. Unfortunately, only 2 males fit the criteria for the age range so they had to marry. Story was cute especially the ending as the feelings are developing and you see the seme's perspective. Love this author so gets 4 stars but seen better works
