FL is not really likable. The art is endearing, but the actions are annoying. She is a pathetic, whining girl who doesn’t think before she acts and get herself and people around her in trouble with her reckless actions. And she then acts all pitiful. Also, the rare moment you’ll see her talk back and get angry is in teh most useless situations and towards people who do not deserve it (like the ML showing care for her through a tough time and her losing her temper). Overall, a big nope. The plot was great, but the execution not really. Plus the reveal regarding her being a girl was such a let down.

Stopped at 129. Has potential, but FL is a bit of a goody 2 shoes.

Completed update: 3 stars ️ Found the ending underwhelming. Faking your death to live HEA elsewhere feels like failing to me. Especially when u were the most powerful people where you were and had to leave everything and everyone behind. Her being with ML who just recently set her brother up to be killed, was willing to let the baby son of her dead beloved sister be killed, and had a hand in the destruction of her family, etc. It all makes me sick. ML was doing too much. And the fact that he loved her, i don’t understand it. She’s nothing special. I hate that they didn’t show their eldest son get together with the lady in waiting. All the got is that he loves her and is planning to confess the spring after the end of the story. And we know based on her most recent blushing episode, that she likes him. Ugh! I hate unfinished storylines. No reread. Too frustrating. It leaves u unsatisfied At 98. FL is spoiled and selfish. Doing as she please while seeing herself as the victim and the most pitiful one as she enjoys the best in life. She is giggling away at parties, walks, shopping, while blissfully unaware of everything her loved ones are sacrificing for her sake and how many innocent people were killed. Then she finally gets a glimpse into reality, then she started running around like a chicken without its head, yapping, taking random actions and decisions, without a goal in mind. I am at chap 98 and she is exhausting. I am confused as to why ML has been doing all this for hee stupid sake. If all this is because of his love at first sight, as the author is trying to make it, then my respect and appreciation for ML goes down the drain, because this lady 100% does not deserve all this sacrifice. Completed it seems like. Stopped at 86. Love myself a FL over 30. ML is a bit to restraining and overprotective towards FL. His love is strangling her. Her son now knows she’s sick. I wonder what ML will do when he hears abt it. based on original life, she has around 2 yrs left to leave. Her brother and husband are fighting against one another. The emperor wants to destroy both families, the Gerten family hates both families, and the Roberts as well. But the second son of Robert, John Juan, imo will fall for FL since they’ve met a few times as friends before knowing each other identity. I also think the poor lady in waiting of FL and FL son will end together. Loving it so far. Can’t wait for more.
