Saiteina otoko no ude no naka
Not much going on with the plot and characters. They've only been together for such a short period of time (1 month!!) and done little other than sex, so their relationship is kinda hard to buy. Art and vibe are pretty though.
Koi ni wa Mukanai Shokugyou
Not my favorite, but i like how cuddly the MCs are. Side note: i always struggle to read this mangaka's works because the panels are so jam-packed with textures and decorations. For this manga especially, i couldn't concentrate on the story because the art made me dizzy. I ended up skimming most of it, that's probably why i couldn't enjoy the manga to the fullest.
The King of Home Cooking
This is like. The blue print of k-drama. The plot, the characters dynamic, the conflict, the love triangle.....everything screams cliche, but it's that kind of cliche that's so bad it's good. NGL, i was so frickin excited going into this manhwa because??? Masterchef fake dating and social media AU??? Enemies to lovers trope???? That's my kind of shit right there. It felt like I was reading an AO3 fic in a manhwa form and it was Amazing. The first half of the story is seriously good and FREAKIN FUNNY LIKE HOW TF DID AUTHOR KEEP THROWING GODLIKE QUALITY JOKES AND HILARIOUS BANTERS LEFT AND RIGHT???? (ALSO THE NAME PUNS......IM SO FRUSTRATED THAT IT WASNT EXPLAINED IN THE TRANSLATION BECAUSE IT WAS GOLD). And i was rooting so damn hard for the MC because he was a piece of shit, but he was a Hilarious piece of shit and a self-aware one at that. His inner thoughts were top tier comedy, and his flaws were actually endearing that it sorta became his good points too. But then the story went on too long and it's like the story changed into the kind of cliche that i hate. It stopped being hilarious and instead became dramatic, MC rapidly turned into a character i'm reluctant to root, and not just because he kept going around kissing people he wasn't even sure he had feelings for. I just couldn't be happy for him even when everything turned out fine in the end. Also, [SPOILER] his reason for choosing the ML over the 2nd lead is so. Half-assed like, he blatantly said that he was more into the 2nd lead but chose ML just because ML was more pitiful and in need of his caring. And that put a huge damper on the whole thing for me. I'll still give it 3 stars, though, because the writing is pretty good and i had a LOT of fun reading the first half of the story.
Dramatic de Nani ga Warui
I won't rate for real bc the rating's already low but it's 3.5 out of 5 for me. It's adorable, i like that they act like kids in highschool do, and their relationship feels natural. But there's nothing new with the overall story and i think it'd be better off as a shounen ai.
Kino to Yano
Pros: - Straightforward and healthy relationship - Communication - Affectionate couple Cons: IM TOO OLD FOR THIS KIND OF STORIES and i feel like i've read dozens of other mangas with the exact same plot and progression.
