Himegoto Asobi
I first read this when i was in hs and didn't like it so i never finished it until now. Rereading as an adult is definitely a whole different experience, however, because i LOVE this. It has a couple of cliches or tropey moments here and there, but ultimately it's a portrait of a realistic relationship between adults. Seeing both men be awkward with emotion and intimacy but still try their best to make their relationship work is just *chef kiss*. Glad i decided to reread.
Terano-kun to Kumazaki-kun
Rly liked the characters dynamic on this one. A bit weird reading smut about high schoolers and i skipped most of it bc surprise surprise, their interaction outside sex was actually the highlight of the manga. The moments where they took care of each other and be affectionate were gold. Wish there were more of it.
Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai
What i remember from this manga is that it's gritty as hell, and the writing / world building is great. The chemistry between MCs is electric, doesn't hurt that they're both crazy hot. I've no idea whats happening to the plot because i stopped reading ages ago, and i dont know if i'll ever pick it up again-- it's a bit too convoluted for me with a lot of side characters and very, Very sparse update, so it's dropped for now.
ISHIBASHI DEFENSE CORPS INDIVIDUAL
Ohoho i do love it when two manly men shuffle their feet like grade schoolers because they're too awkward with romance. And this one is a friends to lovers too! Very nice.
When the Killer Falls in Love
I've been following the raws since it came out and it's freakin fun with a premise best suited for an early 2000s super angsty korean melodrama but instead it's filled with hilarious rom-com tropes. I love it a LOT. Can't believe it's finally ended, im gonna miss it like crazy.
Trap of Desire
Buddy cop romance! Relationship between main characters is good, i always like friends to lovers trope, especially in the action genre (those "please dont get hurt"s "be careful"s and "ive got you"s.... chef kiss). However, the plot was pretty....lacking? Lots of them started without proper conclusion. Panels are confusing sometimes, and i couldnt get into the cases they worked on, probably bc they were so short with so little details.
Sen
TW: violence, rape (not between MCs), tragedy, character death About an unlikely pair who wandered around the continent and all the humanity problems they encountered. One is a burly ronin, and another is a delicate looking man who would grant wishes in exchange of souls. This is a beautiful story. Heads up: some of the cases these two encountered was very rough to read.
Koko Wa Yasashii Niwa
TW: traumatic incident, mental health issue +touching and tender +two lost men healing each other -ending is rushed, resolution to the conflict is a bit forced
