091125 (105) omg. this manhua is fucking ADORABLE. the art is pretty, and my god the character designs are SOO GOOD. pixiu, nezha, yangjian and ren jiao THEY'RE ALL SO HANDSOME AND HOT. wen xi and the dragon king person are sooo pretty. i can't lie though, after 105 chapters, it's gotten kind of boring. i feel like the plot moves way too slow, but that might just be me. 190425 omg i had this on want to read for the LONGEST TIME but i just saw a twt saying the blondie looks like aventurine + photos AND HE REALLY DOES AHHH THE HAIR STYLE + HAIR COLOUR + EYE COLOUR OMG he's sooo pretty i wanna read this so bad now. 131125 (78) holy shit. so many thoughts rn omfg LMAO. do i start with the positive or the negative hmmm. ok omg i fucking LOVE crispin. he is genuinely the most greenest flag i have ever seen. i also loveee the alpha x alpha side couple my god! auger and thurston are amazing. auger is genuinely so fucking fine and for what lmaoo. the art in this is so so beautiful. now to talk about the negatives lmao. oh god this is gonna be long. tbh this manhua started off SO strong. it was so interesting, so well written, but then around the 30 chapter mark it really started to fall off. from then on, the plot just kept dragging for no reason, and the characters' actions no longer made sense. now time for the hill rant: holy fuck i cannot beileve how unlikeable hill is now. he used to be such a sweet angel and i loved him so much. now he's actually the most selfish bastard i've ever seen. it's crazy how hypocritical he is. his family (including his brother that he's sooo obsessed with) treated crispin so terribly when he was being held captive by hill's family. he was continuously starved, abused and drugged for a very long time. now that the script has flipped, all of a sudden hill is acting like he's such a victim, and that crispin is evil or some bullshit. where was that same energy for crispin? crispin was constantly getting whipped and kicked by this older brother of his, but when ivan is finally getting jsut the tiniest bit of punishment, he gets so upset, and yet, he did not show even close to that amount of sympathy for crispin. mind you, crispin's entire family was slaughtered and raped by hill's family before this too. hill takes literally no accountability for anything, and instead runs away from his problems, thereby creating more. hill absolutely owes his CHILD care and love. the fact that he's selfishly always only putting himself and his older brother (who is a war criminal) first above anyone else shows how terrible of a person he is. hill calling crispin selfish was actually just straight up disgusting. after every single selfless act he did for everyone? you call HIM selfish? actual bastard. it's crazy how hill has been so goddamn selfish this entire time and yet doesn't have a single ounce of self awareness. i'm sick of hill being so so self-centred and uncaring for others. his apathy towards his baby and crispin is so crazy to me, especially seeing how he was at the start of the manhua. what happened to the hill who cared for crispin who was being held captive, even tho crispin had literally threatened to murder him and his family? now when crispin is treating him amazingly well, he's just completely switched up. crispin deserves better lol. i honestly would have preferred him finding someone else, because clearly hill does not care about him or their child. i'm so disappointed with the direction this manhua has gone. this is getting ridiculous. it's crazy how many people are defending hill. gross lol i hate that bitch. crispin genuinely deserves so much better. hill is the reason i docked off 2 stars lmao he pmo so bad there's no way i'm giving this 5 stars anymore. i really wish this story went another direction. i'm genuinely so upset ughh. this comment from bato perfectly encapsulates my feelings on this lmaoo: 'Clearly the unpopular opinion but I think Hill is a selfish little shit. “Oh but Hill wants his freedom! Only when he was directly affected bc his POS father or brother did something to him, did Hill care about what was going on. While his brother and father were trying to insight another war, all Hill wanted was to play house with the same guy whose family was slaughtered by his family but now he’s giving Crispin the cold shoulder ???! For what reason??! Oh, right! Because he was a wee little bird trapped in a golden cage. Like did I forget something in the plot? Where is all this empathy and camaraderie for Hill coming from? Someone help me understand bc the way I see it, he hardly deserves it. Now that Crispin isn’t [a slave] and finally the got his revenge (which definitely could have been A LOT worse), now Crispin’s suddenly the “bad guy” holding him back? I can’t.'

good so far but the order is all messed up and im so confused. there's so many copies of the same chapter too 21/09 4:51pm up to 83 - so good!! the order stopped being weird after like 20 chapters. i love the couple they are so beautiful and cute. the art is gorgeous, the plot is interesting and the characters are so loveable 10:11pm ch 90 - YOu'RE KIDDING WHAT IS THAT CLIFFHANGER AHHHH anya pls dont die baby 121023 (96 going by bato.to chapters) - sooo... anya (angelo) did die :D i finally reread and caught up. holy fuck I AM SO FUCKING SAD i really did not expect valu and angelo's story to end that way. angelo just fucking died just like that. we didnt get ANYTHING after that no funeral no tears no closure no time to process no nothing. they literally just ignored his death like what?? they showed cassius and naizaire visiting deon's grave but there was absolutely nothing for angelo. we never even saw valu's reaction holy fuck. also that whole arc where cassius' memories were manipulated was fucking heartbreaking omg. he finally remembered in the latest chapter oaiweurowwfagw. god this manhua is so fucking good i just wish they handled angelo's death better like that hurt so so much. im so sad i'll never get over them. also FINALLY PRINCE OF VALU IS BACKK after so many chapters also does he have a name?? like lmao i dont think hes ever been referred to as anything but prince. god i miss angel so much they did him so dirty 251125 jrr cu (108) i read the officials on bato!! damn so many thoughts. it's funny how the ogs are the only couples who got a happy ending. valu and angel, haine and zion... ugh im never not gonna be sad abt what happened to angel. i still think that execution was dogshit lol. anyways, im pretty satisfied with the ending. the plot at the end of the manhua did start getting very convoluted and unnecessarily complicated, but i still enjoyed it.
