Last ch 34 I wasn’t expecting this to be good. I thought it was going to be cute but then you made me feel things. Deon is cute. I wonder if he knows his own feelings. Complete ch 70 + side 10 Fucking, Brothers Without a Tomorrow out here stealing my fucking heart again. I fucking swear, I can’t handle all these super wonderful boys! You just keep throwing them at me! Beom is only sweet to Geumhoo and damn is it so fucking cute, it’s endlessly cute. The first time that Geumhoo slept so much, I think it was closer to his body being so exhausted that it needed so much sleep. He didn’t get to bed until dawn so it was only 5 or so hours. After that, it was because of Beom being there, protecting him. Since it was after Beom fucking protected his lord and then was all cute while apologizing to Geumhoo for not getting him water. Beom is so cute, even when he has that intense look in his eyes while he’s protecting Geumhoo, he’s adorable. The way he looks at Geumhoo! Yes! (Ch 14) Upon reading the official translation, he slept from dawn to three. Which is about nine hours depending on the time of year. Which is more and details matter to me! (Ch 7 Official Translation) The two of them bring me so much joy. They are so in love with each other. Only their happiness truly matters. (Ch 38) This made me so emotional. Holy fucking shit. Last ch 27 Team Claude. I think Ian is very fun and a total puppy (wolf), but Camel has better reactions towards Claude. She thinks he’s beautiful, intimidating and captivating. The brother knowing that what his mother is doing is unfair and standing up for Camel, calms my frustration about the situation. (Ch 27)

Last ch 54 Alastair, sweetie, baby boy. Please prove to be everything I think you are. (Ch 27) He, my boy, is doing great. He isn’t perfect but he isn’t letting me down. Her, she’s disappointing. (Ch 54)

Last ch 34 It’s better than I thought it was going to be. However, the bar wasn’t very high. Theor is a precious baby boy and I adore him. Love the grandfather as well, he’s funny. Astelle isn’t stupid which is nice. Baby daddy emperor is a character I would enjoy much more if there wasn’t this background plot that we get limited information about since the story is told from Astelle’s POV. I enjoy many of the characters, as characters, but the plot is, something. I can appreciate the intent but it’s not the vibe right now. (Ch 34)

Last ch 60 MORE! Blanche is a queen, we stan. (Ch 26) These boys. (Ch 44.5) Blanche is the only female protagonist this story needs. Not whatever dumb bitch took over the other girl. Seeing her play the system and still be lowkey lovey dovey with Riccardo makes my day. They are just holding hands under the table but it opens the door to her sneakily being affectionate with him all over the place. (Ch 60)

Last ch 41 Love all the Vinas, they are so funny and wonderful. They love Al so much. I was just going to write about how cute they are and put a little note that said, we basically got confirmation that Al is the alchemist of gold. It’s been something that I’ve thought about since it was mentioned that they are looking for this person. Like, the light was gold when they made the contract and Julles was all, “well that’s weird.” For fucks sake, if that’s not making it blatantly obvious, then what is? Maybe the fact that Al can read all languages, is contracted with FIVE vinas who are fucking demigods, survived that horrible poison that blocked her hormones and destroyed her body for so long, has fucking visions, and has gained the favor of that prickly purple haired boy who is only supposed to live for the alchemist of gold, makes it obvious enough for all of us to understand. All that’s great and wonderful, but the fucking AUDACITY this bastard has to approach her as if nothing is wrong and he’s just seeing a friend for the first time in forever. How fucking dare you. You explained nothing after dumping whatever you needed to say to her and then leaving. You didn’t try to contact her, you didn’t try to have your sister convey the situation, and now you’re showing your face? No. Fuck you and your sister. Do not approach Al. Stop hurting my baby. My baby who is starting to heal! If you are, show some fucking shame for your past actions. Fuck your intentions, you hurt Al and sided with her abusers. You fucked up, you no longer have any right to stay in her life. (Ch 41)

Last ch 61 I love Reinheart. Beginning, middle, and end. I adore that man. (Ch 34) Duke Carlon Delphine is a genuinely good man. He wants to help Valtea, he wants to help the child he saw being abused for so long. I enjoy how everyone in the duchy treats her like a precious child, to varying degrees. She might be an adult physically but she needs to relearn how to live. Back to basics. Reinheart being described as knowing he’s broken and Valtea being described as not knowing she’s broken, is very fitting. The two of them are very broken. Now that Carlon is in the picture, it’s very obvious just how broken the two of them are. The emperor really out there being super reductive about Valtea’s trauma and Reinheart’s predisposition. For starters, they have emotions and they can act on those emotions. They aren’t emotionless dolls. They feel things differently, have difficulty interacting with others, and are generally apathetic. Their common sense and moral compass is super broken. Just more things I’m the only one getting worked up about. (Ch 41) Reinheart out here proving again that he’s my favorite. Duke Delphine and Duke Leon are good people, I can appreciate them. But Reinheart is the way he is and I’m fucked up so I find that to be greatly appealing. (Ch 44 End of Season 1) Focusing on the sweetness of the Snowta Peanut and Valeta calling Reinheart out instead of those imperial assholes. (Ch 57)
