And there’s only one way to find out…" Almost dropped early on because of little to no romantic development and a very reluctant MC, but it becomes clear around the beginning of season 2 that the director is end game and he's my favorite. Really don't like that there's still sexual encounters with the 2nd ML even once MC and ML get closer, but they never fully have sex. 2nd ML is sleazy af and wish they'd cut things off with him quicker, especially since his sexual encounters with MC are pretty equal in amount to ML. The ending is essentially perfect for this story. He ends up in a committed relationship, and it solves all the messy character interpersonal relationships and damage that would have otherwise carried over into the final couple's life together. The characters don't have a ton of depth but don't need it, and that also means that not having side stories was probably the best choice. I think the author finished everything strong. [Complete] I disagree with a lot of the comments. I think the story isn't hard to follow and the translation is good, but the last 2 chapters could have been done much better. I got really invested and enjoyed the story either way, but more of an explanation at the end/further elaboration would have helped. It felt like a story that needed side stories, given the abrupt end. Lots of MLs but it's not a harem, the others pursue unambiguously one-sidedly and only in comedic fashion. Mutual pining, childhood friends, re-encounter. Seems like it's based on a novel by Oneulbom. Sad that we never got to see the kid, though.
