Yata (nickname Hachi) let his younger childhood friend Rin put a collar on him as a game when they were young, but at that moment he awakened as a sub and his body accepted Rin as his pair. He moved away and has spent the rest of his life taking medicine and proving to himself he doesn't need to rely on anybody to survive, but now Rin is coming back into his life as a student of his at university. But when transfer student Yusei warns him that he needs to take medicine to suppress his own sub pheromones, Masami refuses to accept it, even when his body can't help but obey Yusei's commands. The story of a sub with trauma about his nature coming to terms with it. Trigger warning: dubcon.

Rui is a sub who has never had a relationship or even played, so he signs up for a dating app and agrees to meet up with a man who has model-level good looks. Only due to a misplaced "like" on the app, the scary-faced Ritsu shows up instead. The two go through with the play anyway, and Rui is over the moon with how good it feels, while Ritsu feels that Rui is exactly his type, so they begin to date. The only problem is, Ritsu is a much harder dom than Rui can handle, and trying to suppress his instincts starts to become painful for both of them. A surprisingly nuanced and emotional story dealing with two people who love each other but other needs don't match up. I think they fumbled a bit at the ending and it felt forced, but overall, a decent read. Trigger warnings: violence, cheating, rape/drunk sex, domestic abuse.

Kairi is an ordinary school boy until one day he comes home to find a demon in his room who announces that Kairi belongs to him due to a contract made in a previous life and pounces on him. Now Kairi has a jealous, high-maintenance (male) demon as his wife, and while it's not all bad, he can't help but worry that Raj is in love with his past life, not him. This one has interesting characters and a good setup but it fumbles a bit at the last moment to rush into a happy ending without really resolving the interesting conflicts that it had built up. Still a solid read with a sexy demon though. Trigger warning: statutory rape (probably).

Kikuma(S) is a delinquent, but it turns out the reason why is his unfulfilled sub nature. Kikuma isn't sure he buys that, but when he's forced to room with the dorm head, Takasumi(D), Takasumi puts down some rules he finds he can't help but follow. The beginning of their relationship is questionable, but it's very cute by the end. Trigger warnings: noncon, S&M, strangulation.

Kanata(S) is a gamer who was sexually harassed and bullied at his previous job for his sub gender, until his best online friend, screen name CEO, helped him resign and get a new job. But when he finds out the CEO of his new job is a dom as well, he almost has a panic attack. CEO offers to do a voice call to talk him through it, and Kanata finds out his best friend is a dom. Once they play together there's no going back, but little does Kanata know that CEO is actually his real-life CEO, Miroku. Fairly pure for a dom/subverse, and I liked their honest communication. Trigger warnings: sexual harassment, noncon.

Rintarou has always been weak to his crybaby best friend Natsu's crying face, so when Natsu begs him to help him with a stalker by pretending to date, Rintarou can't say no. But as they practice intimacy to make their act more natural, Rintarou quickly finds himself completely overwhelmed, and meanwhile, Natsu isn't being entirely honest about all this. Rintarou is cute enough, but Natsu is seriously a jerk. Trigger warnings: dubcon, lying/manipulation

Shun is a tabloid reporter who blows off steam by having casual sex with prostitutes, and his favorite part is the kissing, so he's a little disappointed when he books a man who looks ideal, Nao, only to find out he's saving his first kiss for his first love. Still, Shun is intrigued and keeps calling Nao back, until it's obvious they've both become a much bigger part of each other's lives. I don't know that the actual story is that believable, but they were cute enough, and I liked that Nao's sister got to give some encouragement. Trigger warnings: sex work, blackmail.

When Ikkun was about to graduate, his best friend Hana (male) suddenly attacked him, had his way, then disappeared, and Ikkun has had no idea what to make of it ever since. Three years later, Hana bursts into his life like a storm again, only to have him run any time things might start to get serious. Hana is a very pretty crossdresser, but their relationship wasn't as emotionally gripping as I hoped it would be. Trigger warnings: rape, sex work

Rita was the only survivor in his family of a plague and after that he was considered a cursed child, so when the time came to offer a bride to the dragon of the mountains, he thought this could be a place for him to belong. But when the dragon, Ignat, found Rita with a broken leg, Ignat took him in but said he had no need of a bride and Rita could only stay into it healed. But Rita is desperate to find a place to belong, even if it means risking his life to become a dragon, himself. Trigger warning: discrimination.
