Kaede has lost yet another job for causing problems with customers, when really everyone assumes he starts trouble because of his looks. But the customer who helped him out, Rihito, happens to have a job offer at a bar that Kaede is happy to take. Rihito is soft-spoken and cool, and Kaede is so grateful to him that even finding out Rihito's family is in the yakuza doesn't push him away. But when Rihito kisses him while drunk and Kaede starts to expect more from this relationship, they'll need to work out what's really going on between them. The characters are both good-looking and the story is fine, but nothing special. Trigger warnings: drunk intimacy, stalker.

Yukito has always loved his childhood friend, Keiichi, but after Keiichi got his first girlfriend, Yukito distanced himself, moved away, and started having lots of casual relationships. Now Keiichi wants to get back into Yukito's life, and he also wants Yukito to cut things off with his sex friends. But if Yukito is no longer capable of thinking of Keiichi as just a friend, can they really go back to normal? I didn't think the leads had a lot of chemistry, so this one didn't engage me as much. No trigger warnings.

(Ch.1-3, 5.5) Part-time Pets - In a world where animal-human hybrids serve as "pets" to humans, the Kemomimi Corporation rents out pets to those in need. The first is the story of a failing business that rents a bunny who can do anything to help turn things around. The second is the story of an author who lost his cat so he rents a former wildcat to help inspire his work. And the last is the story of a sickly young boy who always wanted a dog but instead gets a highly capable and stern dog-tutor but he comes to like him anyway. My favorite is the bunny ("I specialize in hopping," is the best line of all time). Trigger warning: power imbalance. (Ch.4-5) Koimiko: Love Shrine - Enishi is the koimiko of his family shrine who has inherited the power to create true love for anyone who sleeps with him. Unfortunately for his family, he has no interest in love or sleeping with strangers, at least, until he falls for his teacher Suzumori and realizes how heart-wrenching love can be. But Suzumori can't return Enishi's feelings because of a relationship he had with a former student five years ago, before the student's parents found out and things ended. Enishi offers to sleep with Suzumori to help his love come true, but little did he know that Suzumori's love is already dead, so helping him find love will mean going straight to the afterlife! Not really my cup of tea with this one. Trigger warning: statutory rape.

Yokomichi is an omega who always gets dumped for wanting to top, but this time he's found his perfect man, the company president Karasuma! Yokomichi uses Karasuma's limited understanding of the world as an excuse to spend time teaching him, but even once they start dating, things like an old friend and Arabian oil prince and their difference in statuses keep getting in their way. An interesting read with some nonstandard characters and some wacky nonsense going on. I was honestly more interested in the short beta x alpha romance between their friends, but then it just sorta ended. Trigger warnings: kidnapping, S&M, bondage.

Hayashida is a psychic just trying to get by in life and find the one person whose thoughts he can't read to fall in love with. He thinks he may have found the one when he realizes he can't read the thoughts of the handsome soccer club president, so he goes to watch everyday and ends up sitting beside the very loud-thinking Mori who goes to watch the club manager for her boobs. But when Hayashida gets turned down terribly by the club president, will the straightforward Mori be the one to turn things around? A cute, fast read. Trigger warning: homophobia, forced outing.

In a world were mages are treated like a monsters, Levi the mage (16 years old) has such destructive power he can't fit in even among mages, so he decides to run away. In the process, he (literally) bumps into the young 13th prince Saphir (6 years old) who was running away from his own attendants. To keep himself out of trouble, Levi invites young prince to come too, but though Saphir appreciates the offer, he says he has to go back. Later when they've both returned home, Levi hears Saphir was missing that day after an assassination attempt that killed his poison tester, and this lights a fire in Levi to protect the young prince. This is the story of a lonely teenage mage who finally finds a person who treats him as a human and a young boy who can finally feel safe when together with this mage. It's cute and very interesting, but be prepared for an intense age gap. I'm sure Saphir will grow up later, but Levi did confess while he was still a kid. Trigger warnings: discrimination, attempted murder, kissing a minor.

Akira just wants to keep the spirit of his grandfather's bathhouse alive, but unfortunately it's wound up in the center of a yakuza turf war, and all four young heads are determined to get it from him by force, manipulation, or seduction(pretty much rape). But one of them, Ryuichi, says he'll protect Akira to fulfill a promise that Akira can't remember. Really just smut, the story is not there. Trigger warning: noncon.

Ayumu is an omega with relatively few pheromones who works as areal estate agent, and one day he gets a complaint about a homeless person loitering near a property. That's how he meets Ren, an alpha single dad working in a brothel to support his young daughter, Rui. Ayumu falls head over heels and becomes determined to help them, even moving them into a complex he manages, but what he doesn't realize is that meeting Ren has already triggered a change in his body, and there's no hiding his feelings now. I like this couple. The alpha isn't overbearing and the daughter is very cute. Trigger warning: sex work.

Akira is a high school student who realized he was in love with his tutor Koki when Koki and his mom announced they were getting married. Akira wants to be happy for them, but he can barely keep himself from jerking off to Koki's insane levels of skinship. He ends up going to stay at his teacher Tojima's house where he has Tojima jerk him off since he can no longer finish by himself. Over the course of their happy life together Akira can't help but fall for Tojima, but Tojima has had issues with relationships with students before and he doesn't want to get burned again. A bit cliche and obviously a problematic relationship, but it's not the worst. Trigger warnings: incest themes (stepparent attraction), noncon, statutory rape(?)

Kosuke and Haruka are a happily married alpha/omega couple with two young kids, Marin and Yosuke, and this shows some of their life. Kosuke runs a construction company, while Haruka works from home, and both seem to have some trauma from their past but are trying to make a better upbringing for their kids. So far light on background details and plot, but it has enough to be interesting. Trigger warning: sexual harassment.
