Mizuki is a modern-day vampire who eats semen to survive, even though it tastes pretty bad, until one night poor planning leads to him jumping his classmate Sakura who he finds out has the most delicious semen of all. After that, Mizuki is determined not to lose hold of this great meal, and while he gets Sakura on board, Sakura wants more out of their relationship. I honestly think Sakura is really unfair to Mizuki, especially considering Mizuki is literally starving himself for him. Anyway, I like them as a couple overall. A group of gay former wrestlers with mixed up love lives and maid costumes. It's fun and sexy so far. Trigger warnings: dubcon, attempted rape.

Unfortunately, not only does Ando not remember the next day, even when Kikuchi tells him he's sure it's impossible, since Kikuchi would never want to sleep with someone like him. So what will happen when Kikuchi films drunk Ando and himself doing the deed as proof? Very sexy so far, and Ando is adorable. Trigger warning: drunk sex

Fifth in the Kuroneko series. Werecat Shingo and his actor and wereleopard boyfriend Keiichi are a lovey dovey couple living together now with the trouble of Keiichi's brother behind them, but when Keiichi gets busy with work, Shingo tries to control his jealousy, only for him to feel they're drifting further apart. Finally, Shingo puts an end to things, and this time, Keiichi doesn't chase him. But is Shingo really ready to let things end? Trigger warning: dubcon. SO, I have things to say. I have two main problems with this one. 1) Less important, but the whole, "the problem lies with the one who can smell it." That's not how scent works?? It's just such an asinine line that makes zero sense in context or with biology when they could have explained it so many other ways, and I hate it. But 2) the bigger problem is that they frame it as though Shingo is the one in the wrong, and while he does let his anxiety get the better of him and ask for the breakup, it fails to acknowledge all the ways in which Keiichi fucked up to get them there. Shingo asked if he was having an affair, and he knows Shingo has anxiety about being abandoned in a relationship, yet his only response was to find his jealousy "cute." Then, we have him staying out late, not texting, not coming home at night, all of which is pretty bad behavior in a partner, even if Shingo did know it was for work, and all the while he was with an openly bi director who was flirting with him, which Keiichi seemed to do nothing to stop. But the worst of all is that he took a job oversees for multiple months without even talking to Shingo about it! Like, it's your choice, but when you're in a relationship, it's totally irresponsible to make such a major life decision without at least consulting your partner. No wonder Shingo thought he was losing interest! And instead of exploring any of these things at all, when Shingo asked for the breakup, Keiichi just demanded the "real" reason instead of taking any time to think about any of this, then left. He's always been a pretty abusive partner, but the way in which this volume frames him as the victim just drives me crazy. Still, I obviously feel some investment in this couple if I'm bothering to write all this. I would really love to see a version of this volume from Keiichi's point of view that actually addresses the ways in which he was failing Shingo and sees him realize he needs to do better as a partner if he wants Shingo to feel secure in their relationship.

Ch.1-3 - The Dangerous Neighbor/Lover/Roommate - Endou is sleeping with a woman when her husband, Okumura, comes home, ending their marriage. Endou feels so bad when he hears Okumura is a mess that he can't help but get involved, only to find out that Okumura is a flaming homosexual who wanted his marriage to end, takes advantage of Endou, and becomes a moocher staying at his house. But in the end, Okumura finds reasons to want to stay with him and they end up working and living together. Not really my thing. Ch.6-6.5 are extras about Okumura's ex. Trigger warnings: cheating, rape, lying/manipulation. Ch.4-5 - Where Your Heart Belongs - Ritsu likes to have one night stands to deal with his unrequited love for his best friend, but when he worries that he might have caught an STD and rushes to the nearest hospital (and OBGYN), he runs into his latest one night stand, Ikeuchi, as the doctor! It turns out it's measles, and Ikeuchi is relentless in trying to take care of Ritsu, finally wearing him down. But a year later, Ritsu worries that despite Ikeuchi's words of affection, he always draws a line between them, and really still sees them as fuck buddies. These two are the more interesting couple to me. Trigger warnings: sex work, statutory rape(?).

Gill was an ordinary guy who got isekaied into a fantasy world where he's engaged to prince Darion. Darion is cool and all, but Gill is straight and just wants a girlfriend, while Darion is certain they're meant to be. More smut than story, and the characters aren't that likeable, but it can be funny. Trigger warning: dubcon

Gyeon-woo has had a crush on his friend Ido since they were in high school together, so when he gets evidence of Ido cheating on his significant other, Gyeon-woo finally decides to throw caution to the wind and attempt to blackmail Ido into sleeping with him. Which Ido does, before revealing he's polyamorous and wasn't cheating, anyway. Then he announces that he, his roommate Jin, and Gyeon-woo should all start dating as boyfriends. What follows is an exploration of how they got there and the twisted emotions that drew these three men together. It's an interesting story, but it depicts very unhealthy relationship and has extended stalking scenes and a graphic depiction of rape, so read at your own risk. Trigger warnings: drunk sex/rape, stalking, rape.

Kei is a shut-in since the death of his grandma, so when half-Japanese Noah returns to Japan and needs a place to stay, his uncle, a friend of Kei's grandma, sets it up so Noah will live with Kei in the hopes that he can break him out of his shell a little. Noah is surprised by how cute and completely unable to take care of himself Kei is, while Kei is surprised by Noah's touchiness and his own sudden arousal in reaction. But when the two finally cross the line and things get physical, Kei's lack of experience mean he has no idea what's going on, let alone that he's fallen in love. Very cute. No trigger warnings
