-95 . A 4.5 Despite the idiotic tittle and the dreadful sum of revenge + reincarnator with knowledge from the modern world, it works ! The pace is mostly good, the characters are not deep but not completely shabby, and the story moves on, the discarded bad guys are gone, new ones - not as brainless - appears So it’s kind of like a dungeon crawler where the hero is a girl that goes for revenge through climbing the social ladder of high society, with a little bit a spy flavor, and a coating of romance No character is too wonderful, i could do without the archetypal « boys band » MLs, or the sad fashion for men (suits or uniforms), the cooking or « make up « discoveries are dreadfully ignorant from the past achievements too , but it’s ok I find the twist of a word where reincarnators are recognised as special entities pretty fun too, The cell phone with a search engine could be absolutely op, but it’s used in moderation Lastly the returning vilain are such a pain !!!

102 - it’s a 3.5 - Exceptionnaly slow ! I’m glad there’s less flashbacks because they are super gloomy The pace is probably hindered by overloads of cute or op stuff : honestly you don’t need one chapter and a half to kiss your family members, it would not lose in fluff with half as much There seem to be interesting characters and a big plot, some magic elements, but we see too little of each, whereas there is plenty (too much) of lippe is awesome thingies and « harem’s development (kids and mothers included) So it has lots of potential, but it’s a one lippe show so far, and that is a bit heavy

76 - It’s a 4.5 The story does pick up after a big 50 chapters, and i suppose it is nicely reaching it’s end The universe is interesting, not that original if you read about the underworld and the spirit world before, but it’s rich enough to fill a good story… The characters are ok, the story is a bit diluted in the beginning and would have gain with a few more investigations - as soon as it connects heaven, it doesn’t lag anymore Every chapter is long enough to be immersed into the story and the art is fine :) I would have love one or two nice female characters, it seems to be nearly an all male universe, but it’s entertaining enough for a light read

186 - 4.5 - A bit silly in the beginning, it actually grow some wit, and has a lot to say about society politics hierarchy and values, it keeps entertaining after 100 chapters, and leaves you hanging with suspense quite often It would be hard to say about the « plot », because so far, we’re hoping from one mission to the next, while slowly building a harem ( ?) So far there’s nothing in matters of romance, but lot of humorous episodes due to the MC terrible views on pretty men (objects of fantasy, like women are usually depicted in shonen) So there’s a harem, but it’s ok : Because they all have a role to play, it’s not a collection of pleasure or breeding toys - they are much more than that She’s a strong, hard working and smart character, even if so far the most we see from her is pretty static (sitting and drinking tea) It’s entertaining fun, witty, Not entirely light, and yes, rather original The art can be really subpar C164 +166 - credit currency theory and practice 184 185 making a bubble and blowing it, future investment Toxic finance in that area

13 - I’m pretty amazed at the violence of the coment, although the book summary is indeed pretty evil :/. What surprise me though, is that all hatred goes toward one or the other or both ml - But, having not read the story, the first thing that came to my mind was : how horrible, both king and queen are a tool for aliance and reproduction None of them are considered as free willed people. This is a terrible society that push people into being no more than a social function … Whatever mess of the story there might be here on anywhere on earth, the root of evil is still here. (Because these type of relationship absolutely exist ) We might not need blood descendant to keep bloodlines, and hereditary transmission of power or money… these values are becoming obsolete in face of the idea that we might have the right to live and love without gender , color, or social bias … (Sorry guys, i haven’t slept in a while that make me quite philosophical, but please, beyond the characters that might really deserve every curse after further reading (that would actually be disappointing) , give it a thought … some rules or values are really opening to lots of pain… and a lot of evil sure… https://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/surviving-as-a-maid.105138/ The spoilers are so too much, vile and absurd/evil (include clone black magic and such) that it’s actually a bit hilarious

86 Excellent plot and story telling - interesting universe - good characters A tad bit slow

33 - it has something of a cute fairy tale, mixed with a lot of more realistic and dark stuff, i wonder if that kind of mix can hold I vastly prefer it to doctor elise, although it had a nice start too. It has something of cinderella + mystery + potitics The girls leaves clues and the prince chases her in many way - that part is nice The political aspects of the later story, we’ll have to see, it is one of the thing i disliked in elise Here the girl is capable through a little bit of a gift, and she can do many things which is nice i do like the MC, she’s not naive, she’s sane (not in love with a molesting psychopath), and she does thing without always waiting to be saved - i also love that it’s her kindness that is gifted by a blessing, and that her integrity is well balanced, she’s got values, she stick to them, i like that In fact, she is recognized before she’s gifted, her mere kindness already gave her that much recognition as a « saint «  From there, you could also say that her talent are given to let her be able to live the life she wants - there is freedom in the fact that she can be needed for something else than her bloodline, and she can be needed for things she wants to contribute too… you’re right she’s heard so much she’s worthless than she never really saw her own value Plot holes are more than gigantic, but so far it’s cute and i’d love to see more Btw i hate the title

38 - cute silly mc, a bit slow but an interesting equation as the heroine is lacking in more than a way, but is super spirited It’s a safe and fun read at the end of the day, when my brain is totally fried The art is also very pretty in a cute way On flaw though : the pace is really slow with too many monologues

49 - it’s a 4.5 an original concept, the MC is a nobody aspiring writer whose fan fic have been published against her knowledge , but the content background is about the kingdom political troubles The plot itself resolve around a destitute prince that she met as a child, and admire, despite his terrible reputation What makes this manwha special is the take on media, rumors and reputation… there seem to be a big bit of political plot behind and our smart yet naive character is walking on dangerous paths… and a lot can be said about fiction propaganda (very accurate btw) The pace is good, and the chapters dense enough that you can have a good flavor in a mere 20 chapters (alas often very little for many manwha) 36 chapters leaves room for fluff, more on many characters and deeper political tension, it still very good, but I’d think the pace is slowed, nonetheless, it’s very pleasant to read and you can’t help rooting for a better way of life for a few caged birds…

117 - it’s a manhua I could have missed on the account of its very bad title and the revenge thematic, that’s usually dreadful - lucky i still tried ! It’s absolutely smart with a very elegant and graceful art This one is a gem, it has a revenge underline, but it’s not too bothersome, it’s smart and doesn’t ruin the plot- maybe because protecting is more important - the characters are very defined, the pace is slow, yet it feels very rich and you can’t get bored The MC is a very interesting porcupine and the ML is a still mysterious and a bit of a lonely character Everything is very mesured and poised, both the story telling and the art complement each others in a splendid way - the only flaw would be how knowledgeable the MC is , honestly she must have been reborn more than one time to know that much, but so far, it has not diminished the reading pleasure. I seriously hope it wont turn into a blood bath later on, and i’m also not keen ont the main characters always becoming emperors / empress, there’s no peace, not freedom in these lifestyles, so i hope we stay clear from this path No matter what, at least these hundred and some chapters he great quality
