with really short stories the length makes the flow awkward sometimes and this is one of them. i really liked the art and the uke’s motivation to do well academically. wish it was longer to explore that as well as the seme’s side of the story. some other stories had a chance to expand, i wonder if it could be the same for this.

i love that phi is the chaser and apollo's the one drawing the hard boundaries and taking responsibility as the older and more mature person. currently at vol 3 and rather than having romantic feelings, apollo's giving off a caretaker vibe, acknowledging phi's traumas and wanting to make sure he's ok. i think i'd like it to stay that way, but the rules are like, super on the nose foreshadowing. ch 16 aghhh apollo's so gentle and genuine i love it.
